That was my gut reaction too and I can't disagree but usually when they play really good teams, it ends up being close or the Rangers actually winning. So who knows...

I'm going to this one with a friend of mine from Chicago. Unfortunately, she's a Red Wings fan, lol.

This will be ugly.

great now even females will be mocking the Rangers lol. What has the world come to?

In all seriousness though, the Rangers have to at least get 3 of the 4 points in these next two games to keep pace in the East. Come on boys pull it together you can do it!

Too bad I don't get Versus. It's probably for the best, I don't have a good feeling about tonight.

She won't be mocking them too much - we're sitting in the blueseats after all She's a huge Brendan Shanahan fan and is always lamenting the fact that he isn't with the Wings anymore.

Any update on Rozsival? How sad is it that it's come to the point where we would openly be wondering when he can return to the blueline for us?

I'm going to invest in Kleenex, because we are going to be doing a lot of crying here in NY the next few weeks.

With that said, 5-3 Wings win, 5th goal empty netter. We come back from a 3-1 deficit to tie it only to let them score the 4th goal within 45 seconds of tying it on an Aaron Ward own goal. Shortly therafter Shanny will hit the post and Jagr will take a hooking penalty to seal the deal for Detroit to get that empty net 5th goal.

Hasek does a cartwheel save at the blue line and flies out of the Rink. Only on Versus folks.

I bet all 500 of my vBookie cash on this game for the Rangers to win. What can I say, I like to live dangerously...with fake money, of course

Im scared to know who is calling this game for Versus.
Luckily I have some stuff to do tonight and can't watch it live at regular speed and go through all that excruciating pain.

Only game on the docket tomorrow right?

Hold onto your seats. We are a pretty fragile team emotionally right now. Straka is still coming back to full strength and he's our X-factor guy. Even though the 2 rooks played well as a tandem the other night, with Rosie questionable and us playing at home, the outlook is grim. This could be one of those nail in the coffin losses, but hope springs eternal- I saw San Jose light up Hasek for 8 goals this year so anything can happen. Granted, our offense is not San Jose's offense, but...3-1 Rangers.

I think Henrik makes this one closer than it should be.

3-1 Wings.

I'll be there...carrying a 3-1 record this year. Folks...seriously cool down. Ya think we're weak? This is the least physical team in the NHL. If we can come out firing....finishing checks...and playing with some urgency there is no reason we shouldn't win this game.

I agree, TBBB..

of course, those are the 'Ifs' that have kept this team from winning consistently. It's nearly impossible to predict which team will show. The team that features Jagr as a dominant forward and a decent supporting cast may show, but then again, the one that can't get out of its own end and gives up 40 shots could show too. Frustrating indeed.

Jed nets one, just like last year when we played the wings.

I want to see original six look tonight also.
