I bet you that the only explosion that might occur in this thread is going to be posters like yourself (the vast majority) who will come down hard on the 2-3 regular pro-Omark posters.

Why do you still bother? Initially I got the point of it, especially since there has been so much vitriol back and forth regarding the Omark-issue. In some cases rubbing it in can be justified, but to a certain extent. It is starting to look more like an obsession than anything else. You should just let it go like almost everyone else has.

where are all the omark fan boys now that he is struggling with another team--they are laying in wait for his first goal or highlight reel play

they're still hoping to show us that it's the organization's fault for holding Omark back!

Oilers simply couldn't develop him!...and any other excuse they can come up with for his poor play

last thing they want to admit is that Omark is either a career ahler or should have stayed in Europe

Yet when he went to Switzerland and did well they were down our throats telling us "see what happens when he is out of Edmonton".

I know one of them moved on to diss NJD for ruining Tedenby, and then PHX for ruining Rundblad. I believe I see a pattern there

Anyway I think you are exaggerating how much people really care. I could be wrong though but I am willing to bet that the number of posters which will come here and gloat will be less than 5 (probably 2-3 as I said in my previous post).

The problem is that there is a distinct possibility that it will be impossible to prove any one of us right since Omark doesn't really seem to be on the verge of a break through just yet...

Hey guys he's playong with Ott and Hodgson tonight - beware! Break through time! Wohaaa!!

"Nolan hopes playing Omark on a line with center Cody Hodgson and captain Steve Ott will jumpstart his game.

“If you could watch some of our practices, he’s pretty skilled. He has great vision for the ice, he knows where to go, he knows all the moves, he has everything. But in the games, it just doesn’t transfer,” Nolan said. “We just have to get him to be a little [grittier] and maybe playing with a guy like Steve Ott, that’ll bring it.”"

Seriously it's great that he's getting his shot now. Even if I'm an Oilers fan I would be glad if he makes the Sabres for real.

The sick thing is that I would much rather have the lineup from 2010 compared to this years and that just shows how worthless this rebuild has been..

1. He has 5 games left to prove he deserves a roster spot going forward. I'd waive him at 14 games played if he hasn't done anything.

2. A sixth rounder is about as useless as a secondhand lottery ticket.

No need to get our hopes up for getting an actual return. The trade was 100% for Linus's sake.

It's not useless if we can get another guy like Chase

There's been gems found in the late rounds before, so yes, there is some value to those late picks.

Ah yes, the "it happened before, it could happen again" argument.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.

He kept the puck in at the blue line. That's about as good a secondary assist as you are going to see in this league.

I'm sure he'll score his first goal against us.

Part of me wants him to, I would have a pretty good laugh at that.

First off he is new in a new team, he will get his shoot there once he settled in. After 3 years in Edmonton he never really got a shoot.
Have you even read what most "omark fanboys" write?

And for me i will say i told you so the day if and when Omark is a regular Nhl player producing at this level. Noone thinks one goal or one highlight makes a carrer. You just created this illusion in your head and i actually think you hope Omark scores soon just so you yet again can say "look at the last 10pages on every single one of them i said this will hapen".

Even if Omark scores 5 tomorow against edmonton it wouldnt change a thing untill the long run is done.

As for tomorow, it always seems like Gagner didnt like Omark. It would be fun if they had a fight. That would make me laugh!

We all know the kid can play, the question was always if his game would round out enough for teams to give him a spot in the top 6.

Tbh, it wouldnt surprise me if tomorrow is the last time he will ever be a 1st liner in NHL. =) I hope he makes the most of it and stop trying so hard not to fail. He did have some good games in Buffalo, but with limited ice time and Nolan wanting him to be a checker... yeah.. hahaha... Its funny how his NHL coaches always wanted him to be a dump and chase guy when he never ever was anything near that.

You should give him some cred, he was the only one who could make MPS look like a scoring winger!
