Tougher team than the Kings. They have the most shots on goal average in the NHL. Mason better be ready and so should the defense. If they play like how they did against the Kings and Ducks, I think they can beat the Sharks.

Do we play Mase and risk losing all of his confidence against a team that will utterly pepper our goal or do we shelter him from it and let Emery take the fire? Masons mindset is a fragile thing...

Is it? He bounced back from the Boston beat down in a hurry.

Mason gives us the best chance to win, but i have no idea if Emery gets the start or not..

Berube is a hard coach to figure out when it comes to riding both goalies.

all in, i'd bet on Mason i guess

Hhhmm... not exactly an easy decision but as a Coach or athlete you gotta keep a positive mindset and believe in your chances to win every game.
Chief wants to win, so do the players and Mason gives them the best chance to win which means Mason should play.

I miss being able to watch west coast games, or go to AC on a Wednesday night lol.

I almost threw my phone when I saw 10:30. I might catch half of the first and then pass out.

10:30pm?!? That's 3:30am here. Utterly ludicrous time to face-off.

Awwww yisssss all classes canceled today due to snow! Would've still gotten to watch the game since my last class ends at 9:45pm on Mondays but it's still a nice break. I'm gonna be pretty tired for tomorrows classes though... this game will probably go until 1am-ish.

Either way, a win here would be really nice and I think it's possible, especially considering the Sharks were shut out by the Oilers... if they can do it so can we... that doesn't mean we will, but its possible.

Yup, as if the start time wasn't bad enough. Now I have to watch the game on my tablet or phone for the HD feed.

Can't wait until I get my gbox.

The pts are needed Mason gives us the best change to get the pts so if the coach has a brain its Mason i dont feel we get any pts with Emery in net.

The beats are thinking that Timonen is a no go. If he doesn't play this week, I wonder if he relinquishes his spot for the Olympics.

Wow! Comprehensive GDT OP! Nice.

FYI Demers is out with lower body, Kennedy is in...
Line-up should be something like:

Nieto - Thornton - Burns
Marleau - Pavelski - Wingels
Sheppard - Kearns - Havlat
Kennedy - Desjardins - Brown

Vlasic - Irwin
Stuart - Braun
Boyle - Hannan

GL tonight and hoping for an injury-free tilt

Odds of Kennedy continuing to kill the Flyers now that he is in San Jose?

Kennedy has been god awful for SJ all year. I don't see him turning it on now, even against a familiar East Coast face.

According to Panotch, he won't go.

He was terrible in Pittsburgh too but that didn't stop him from potting a goal or two every time he played us.
