Yup. Any other decent team and he'd be probably up there with the top 5 this season. Oh well, good experience for him at least

Jed got the shot up, but Hasek sprawled, cut down the angle and made the save with the glove...great move by Cullen

Best play for the Rangers comes right at the end. Too bad Orts could not convert, but good play by that line.

Yup. That's the one problem I see with him. Rachunek is actually a better fit, since he seems to have better offensive instincts.

20 minutes of hockey left. NY has to put a bit more pressure on them, forecheck, and get more shots on the Dominator.

Twenty more minutes left to play. Rangers have to stay discipilined this period, and Henrik can't give up any softee's. I can't remember the last time we beat Detroit, but this would be a solid win.

Experience has taught us to be cautious of celebrating the win too early. Hopefully the Rangers remember this game's not done, and they need to continue attacking.

The Rangers have just really had a hard time with breakouts

they're also giving up the blueline pretty easily

Serious question.... with the kids possibly ready, Staal-Baranka-Pock (assuming we resign)-Girardi.... do we resign Karel Rachunek? Or do we have to make other moves first in order to do so?

Anyone else get the feeling Ward might be uneasy about Avery, as he dodged the question during in between periods?

He was asked what the locker room felt about it, and he answered something like "we new something was happening because Ward didn't show up".

If Girardi continues to play as well as he has, I don't have a problem moving Rachunek before the deadline.
