Also in defense of Henrik Lundqvist, if it wasnt for him we would be playing hide and seek with the Flyers in the basement. I guess thats the only thing this team has left to do.

Very true. But honestly, would it be so bad to be battling for the #1 pick right now? If you're not going to make the playoffs, you might as well get a nice pick.

Yeah, 1.94 GAA and 94.6% in the last 7 is so frigging awful! This guy should give us a chance to win games here! How dare he have Brodeur in front of him in the goal stats since late december? Trade him for Cloutier.

Blame this game on him, but don't frigging blame him for being unclutch.

And still Hasek also had 2 or even 3 softies, but his team is better, so he wins anyway.

Was he benched? I didn't see him at all in the last few minutes.

This guy has been getting cut too much slack for too long now. It's time for people to start blaming HIM for this teams problems. HE IS SUPPOSED to be the BEST player on this team. He hasn't even been the 5th best player on this team this year.
I've been saying the same thing for months, glad someone agrees. Jagr's not a leader. Trade him, let's get a couple of 30 goal scorers in place of him, and move shanny to the first line. Give him the C, and call it a day.

This yrs rangers just fits with all the rest of the dark ranger teams of the recent past. last year was just a tease.

Start studying the draft boards, people. The Rangers are currently sitting tied for 10th with a bullet.

Hes not scoring because he doesnt shoot anymore. I want him to do that wrister often but he instead decides to pass to aspiring figure skater Nylander.

I cant believe that to this point I still had hope for this team. Balej im with you all the way dude, Jagr has been useless for a while now, always turns the puck over and never hustles.

Not for me. Pre-lockout i always felt like the teams were crappy, or unbalanced or what have you. I honestly and truly felt before this season started that weve got a first place team. I'm not the only one to think that either.

Losing like this, its tough, real tough.

this teams poor play is due to renney

the 1st line has done nothing all night so what does he do? he keeps them together.

we finally had a good 3rd line in prucha-cullen-ortmeyer, so lets break them up

the 4th line provided no energy, i saw hollweg with one hit, why does he even play them

he plays pock and girardi together, two kids who are attempting to find their game at a professional level, that makes sense, didnt pock play well with roszival?

renney is a moron, he can't motivate, he wont challenge jagr and break the 1st line up and he is wasting shanahan with cullen when he should be playing with nylander

prucha-straka-jagr
hossa-nylander-shanahan
cullen-avery-ortmeyer
hollweg-betts-hall

i am not saying that will work, but its two balanced scoring lines and a 3rd line that can net some points

something needs to change, lets hope its not too late, theres still no excuse for losing tonight except that renney is inept at coaching this team to hold a lead and to continue to apply pressure

Guys, at least leave Nylander alone. He hasn't been as bad as some of you make him out to be

I've been pretty quiet and laid back this year compared to last year. But I've just had it now. This team has to take a completely different direction.

Being a fan of this team is like repeatedly shooting yourself in the foot everyday. There is nothing like getting out of my floor hockey class turning on the radio and hearing them be up 3-1. Then just hearing the dismantling of a hockey team over the course of a half hour drive. This team turns me into a manic depressant. And just to vent one more thing, this team is disgusting with an empty net. I've never seen any team struggle this badly just getting it into the offensive zone.

You would think Jagr would have started to just try and shoot from weird angles with Hasek letting in a few softies he made one good rush the whol games and he waited to do it when we were down
