GO HABS GO

GO HABS GO

GO HABS GO

I like the line-up for tonight, same as last game. Its going to be gritty smash mouth hockey, so Downey and Murray for tonights game is a good idea.

Great GDT.

Just to let you know, Babchuk was sent down to Albany in hopes for Kaberle's return tonight.

This lineup sucks.

One offensive line and the rest won't do a thing. Gimme a break.

That line-up will not last for long...

We can expect a trade in the next few days or a call-up pretty soon. We need more offence, and Murray and Downie will not help us at all...

Hope they will recall Kost and put him on the first line...

I'll say it once again: please pay attention to Hab killer Erik Cole.

I hope that so much since kost last played with the habs, he picked up his play pretty much and has been pretty good with the dogs, but since this time, he didn't get the chance to prove his will to play with the Canadiens and I think he could show some sparks, maybe even could he light up that red light...

Quoted for emphasis. If someone else kills the Habs tonight, it won't be as bad. As long as it's not Cole...

...luckily we don't have to worry because the Habs will come out on top 4-2

Habs Goals:

Bonk
Souray
Koivu
Higgins

Hurricanes goals:

Cole
Whitney

It will be interesting to see how the team reacts tonight. I predict a Hab victory, 3-2.

Very important game. They’ll need to play 3 strong periods. I think they’ll be keyed up because of the Samsonov move. Hopefully, all of this shakes Saku out of his month-long vacation.

I'm not that confident. Murray was waived last month, and they went out that night and laid an egg.

Actually, it was by Perezhogin. But since I think both are going to be in the stands tonight, either one might score it.

Now that Sammy is gone, I think we can go to our lines..
Higgins - Koivu - Ryder (I know, underproducing...)
Latendresse - Plekanec - Kovalev
Perezhogin - Bonk - Johnson
Streit - Lapierre - Murray.

Why do you worry so much about the 4th line... They are not supposed to produce anyway. You should worry about Koivu, Higgins, Ryder instead.

ouch if thats our lineup.

even though samsonov isn't playing good i dont see how we get any better of a chance offensively by taking him out and putting in downey and murray

A totally agree, they not the ones getting paid to put numbers up on the board.

Koivu-2 PTS in last 10 GP
Higgins-0 PTS in last 9 GP
Ryder-4 PTS in last 10 GP

Thats brutal, combined 6 points in 29 games.

They decided to go with hardworking players like Downey and Murray, who can also be physical and supply a spark.
