Thanks to you, drwpreds, hockey diva, and everyone who was helpful!

I appreciate getting some new suggestions. FWIW, I did go into that thread before posting, but needless to say I was hoping for a revised list. lol

I will let you know which places we try. We are looking forward to spending the weekend in Music City!

There's plenty of parking on Church St and from 4th on down. Parkitdowntown.com has more options. I personally like Broadway Brewhouse before games but it can get really crowded after especially on the weekend.

Broadway Brewhouse. Excellent bar food and great beer selection as the name suggests.

3 minute walk to arena. BB gets packed pretty early on gameday.

Pub 5 is across the street from the arena and serves poutine.

I usually do Bailey's out of habit. Jacks line is always, and I mean always, out the door and they don't have much seating. There's this place on church? called Puckett's grocery and it's always packed too but I've never tried it. Basically there are food and bars everywhere. Just park and walk around and you won't be disappointed.

Yes especially before weekend games you have to be there before 530 or the line is huge and there is nowhere to sit. 515 or 5 it is usually OK but sometimes even then you are SOL.

They are good, but I think they do reservations only on Saturdays after 3:30, or at least they were back in December when I tried to go before a game.

Hmmm- interesting- that must be something new. That wasn't the case the last time I went there, but it has been awhile....

GF and I decided to make the trip up next weekend to see the game against that team that was once known as the Thrashers

Staying in West End

Any other Catbirds making the trip?

Any locals got any good restaurant tips ? BBQ, Gastro Pub, Farm to Table?

Def going to Princes and Hattie Bs and ML Rose.

Pissed I won't be able to hit up Yazoo since the game overlaps with the Sat Tasting..any other good breweries?

Also..best place to pre-game before hand?

Last time I was there(which was a couple years ago) I ate at Cadilliac Ranch right there on Broadway. I imagine it's hard to go wrong with any place around the arena.

On Broadway pre-game, there isn't really a "best", it's just what you're into. There's stuff everywhere. My friends and I always go to Paradise Park but to each their own.

Wife and I coming to Nashville on Thursday(2/27 vs. TB). Neither of us have ever been there before...

I see there's another thread but that's a lot of pages to go through...

My questions are...

1) Great places to eat in the area, not looking for large crowds, just great food

2) We typically save money by parking up to a mile away from the arena(we don't mind walking) so is that an option there...usually at most a mile away from an arena looking at $5 dollar parking lots. Thoughts?

3) We're sitting down in section 115...best places near there to get good food/alcohol or is it all relative?

4) Best places to potential meet a player, either before or after the game? Would love to meet a few of the Preds

Thanks in advance for any help fellas

Cadillac Ranch is now Tequila Cowboy. I think it's almost the same, just a new name.

The Library garage is $5. It's a block away from the arena. It's bordered by Commerce St., 6th Ave, 7th Ave, and the Library on Church St. There are 2 entrances, one on 6th Ave and one on 7th Ave (don't use the Commerce st. entrance, it's valet only for the Renaissance Hotel which is across the street).

There is a garage in the new Music City Center behind the arena. There were ads for $5 parking in there during Preds games before the break, but I don't know if it will still be $5. I've also seen $15 parking there for other things.

If you do not mind walking, the best place to park is Lot R at LP Field. Parking there is free.

The Music City Center is $15 for all games and events in the area. I have never seen it cheaper when an event was going on.

Row C is not bad. My seats are in the 300's and they are in row E. It's when you get higher than H when I have a problem with the seats.

Our arena is smaller than almost every other in the league, so there's not many true "nosebleeds" anywhere. The first several rows of the upper level are fine.
