Great for what, another lottery pick? Samsonov doesn't try enough to play for the worst team in the NHL.

1) I'm under the impression that it's today at 12 (aka right now) but it might be tomorrow at 12...
2) Yes, Montreal is on the hook for half.

I too thought Tuesday waivers = 48 hours but according to both Bob McKenzie's TSN.ca article and Sportsnet's article, it says Wednesday at noon...

I think Saturady and Sunday waivers are the only ones that are 48 hours. I could be wrong though.

Fine, thanks. Someone posted a quick list yesterday with waiver-periods for each day and it was 48 for Tuesday there so i was mistaken.

I'd gamble on Samsonov for 1.7 mil next season. Put him on a line with Carter, and see what happens. Carter doesn't use his linemates that well, so there is nothing to lose.

Thanks Eklund looking forward hearing you on sportsnet during the trade deadline. All I hope for is the Leafs being busy. So Sammy has been placed on re- entry or is he going to teh AHL.

Maybe the Habs will just assign him to Hamilton and entertain trading him at the deadline if a team is desperate. Or they can let him sit there and deal him in the summer. I'm sure they don't want to be paying 1.7M next season for nothing, so reentry is probably the last option.

There's a thread stickied about it, don't try to make it look like you have a scoop, you've got nothing, as usual.

What a fraud.
