A lot of you guys are looking down on this team way too much. They played tough last night against a very good Devils team. They should have beat Detroit a good team and TB a top 8 team right now but they just came up short because they didnt show enough desire to win. If they had played the way they did last night they would have won those two games. We'll see what happens this weekend.

I agree with all, but lack of desire to win. Detroit game was lost due Lundqvist relapse and the other two could go either way. Pretty strong performance, but might be too late. If only Jarg picks up his game (huge reserve), then we are hard to beat.

Scary predictions of 18 wins. That would put the Rangers right in the thick of it.

How about 17-10 and the last game of the season in MSG vs the Penguins for 8th place

At this time last year, only 2 of the 16 playoff teams had less than 61 points. And it both cases it required one team ahead of them to really blow it.

Lemme try this one more time:

vs Tpa Bay Lightning W
at Washington Capitals W
at Carolina Hurricanes W
vs Philadelphia Flyers W
vs Chicago Blackhawks W
at New Jersey Devils W
vs New Jersey Devils L
vs Columbus Blue Jacks W
vs Montreal Canadiens W
vs Pittsburgh Penguins W

at New York Islanders W
at Pittsburgh Penguins L
vs Carolina Hurricanes W
vs Ottawa Senators L
at Atlanta ThrashersL
vs Boston Bruins W
vs Pittsburgh Penguins W
vs Philadelphia Flyers W
at Boston Bruins W
at New York Islanders W
at Montreal Canadiens L
at Philadelphia Flyers W
vs Toronto Maple Leafs OTL
at New York Islanders OTL
vs Montreal Canadiens W
at Pittsburgh Penguins W

20-6-2
98 Points
Spare me the bashing but I feel this can work.
At the most toss in 3 losses making it 17-9-2 and 92 points.
One Pittsburgh loss, one Canadian loss, and one Islander loss, maybe.

I think we're away for that last game. But i would make the trip if I got tickets. And it should probably be noted at how easy some games should be for us in this schedule which will drastically help achieve this record.

If they keep playing how they played last night they have a good chance of beating anyone on any given night. I'm not going to make any predictions because chances are they will be all wrong seeing as how this team has been a roller coaster ride all season long. I would be intrested to see that graph that HBNYC made showing the wins and losses this season updated, it was scary then, it cant be any better now.

I don't think it is wise to play Nostradamus -- we have a lot of kids on the farm in Hartford who should get a shot first.

Next 5 games will determine Rangers fate..

We must win the next 5 games or go 4-1

our schedule the next 5 games is quite weak, and we have to come out with a mindset of do or die.

I want to see the playoffs again, this season cant be a waste...

2/9 vs. T.B.
2/10 at WSH
2/15 at CAR
2/17 vs. PHI
2/18 vs. CHI

MUST WIN THESE GAMES!!!!!

The problem is, nobody knows what team will show up. They should have won the last two games. They play just enough to almost win, (reguardless of who the opposition is), but not good enough, to hold a lead, or put together some wins. NJ was in worst shape last season at this time, and they ended up taking the division. Not saying this team is playing well enough to be compared to NJ, but with 29 games left, a few win streaks should be possible.

It's atleast fun to watch Forsberg play, as always. Well, not when it's against us. They're saying he is feeling better than ever with this new thing they glue into his skates, wants to order another batch of em blablabla. Guess this means a deal for someone?
