What's funny is that even with just 1 post to your record, you've managed to prove yourself one of the worst posters on this site. Your complete lack of context, insight and constant use of the enter key aren't helping your cause. The fact that you think Crosby laying on the ice is a good thing for the sport sport of hockey is just ridiculous. The fact that you feel so offended over a couple jokes Downey made towards someone you don't even know shows what an insecure person you are.

How about this for a lesson to his kids. Work hard and even if you don't have much talent you could make it to the big leagues. No, that would be ridiculous right? How about this for advice? Do your job, never complain and thankful for what you have. Yup just more Downey nonsense.

As for delivering pizzas, I'm sure that with the 450K he's pulling in every year, Downey is better off than 98% of the people on this board, so nice try.

Downey was just doing his job, he has to do things like jaw crosby so he tries to do too much and the habs win the game.

If he doesnt do stuff like that hes not in the lineup we need someone who can actually get under the skin of other players. Thats his job hes a 4th line aggitator, everyone is being so hard on this guy hes worked his nuts off to make it to the NHL as a borderline player give him a bit more respect.

Hes a great team guy who always has alot to say, I think its great nice to see.

agreed.. saw him twice near the bell centre and talked to him. he's a really funny person, indeed. This guy deserves my respect.. He loves this town, is proud to be a habs and shows great character. Even though he's not very skilled, he has a love and passion for this game. He's not the best fighter out there but he's not afraid of anyone and would put his career on the line in order to protect his teamates.

On the topic of Downey, do the media even watch the highlights anymore?

Two times in the past two days, Aaron Downey has been accused of high sticking Sidney Crosby... First by Eric Francis and now Michael Landsberg.

Did I miss something?

He may be funny and he's surely a good guy but he's probably the worst NHL player I have seen in my life.

You obviously didn't watch any Habs games in the late 90's, we had almost a full squad of them on the ice every game.
