Yikes.

Sarka just went down hard and cracked the back of her helmet on the ground.

Gets up after a bit and finishes the run.

Wow.

She had to get a concussion from that fall.

That helmet likely saved her life. I was stunned when I saw that. I hope she is okay after that.

That's what I was posting about several hours ago. Very lucky girl. You're watching a repeat. That was 20hrs ago.

Day 4 underway now, Brad Jacobs playing his first match. Hope he can make it three golds in a row for Canada in men's curling. Pretty decent field though, won't be a cake walk.

Potentially a huge day for Canada as they have a lot of medal favourites lined up today.

Luge, speed skating, moguls. Could come out of today with 3-4 medals.

I say potentially because it's days like this where Canada has traditionally had trouble delivering the goods.

Great race by Charles!

In one of the races leading up to the final, one of the asians (I think Korean but can't remember) last name was pronounce "****ing eh". The commentary had me in stitches lol.

Heh heh, ya I noticed that too. It was a Frenchman, Foucanait. (not sure if spelling correct)

Well, our first gold medal favorite of the day has delivered. Fingers crossed for moguls now.

Jones gets an easy win over China, Jacobs really struggled but still got the win. Day 4 is rolling along very nicely so far.

It's been great watching Hamelin mature from 2006 to what he is now. Clutch performance today.

Jacobs went from looking mediocre to looking great to looking terrible to winning.

The reaction from his girlfriend was absolutely priceless...she was losing it completely once that bell lap hit.

Man watching that replay Hamelin was so damn smooth in that race. The guy looks like he expends no energy because his technique is near flawless. As soon as he needs to get back into the lead he takes like one stride and it's done. That was impressive to watch.

Bilodeau and Kingsbury both through to the final of moguls. Chance for the other two Canadians too.

Hamelin has one of the better quotes I have seen recently.
