NHL Injuries Board/Thread - Post any Injury Updates Here
I've been thinking that it would be a good idea to have a place at HF Boards to report all injuries. A sub thread to the Main NHL Board would be ideal, but for now a thread dedicated to reporting any injuries or players that have returned from injuries seems like a good idea. Personally, I find myself searching the net for updates on players considering that I am in about 3 Fantasy Pools. A board/thread like this would also be good if anyone wants to scout the roster of a team that their fav. team will be playing. I have noticed that in the past someone will post an injury, or potential injury after watching a game live. So why not have a section at HF Boards dedicated to this?
For now I guess we can use this thread to report any injuries, returns from injury or call-ups for players that will be missing games.

how is aitken doing over there? i almost fell off my chair when i heard he was playing regularly in chicago
Frankly, not bad. I mean, he's as fast as a turtle out there, but he's pretty good with the gloves off. I, too, never expected him to ever see NHL ice again (though granted, i think 5 chicago Dmen are injured). When we called him up, i cried foul, but he's proven me otherwise. He'll never be more than a #6/#7 part time enforcer, but he's good at what he does.
I need an update on Havlat. I know he has a groin injury and will not be in the line-up for the game against the Leafs. How long are they saying he will be out?
ESPN sucks. They miss injuries from most teams and sometimes are way behind. It's not a reliable source for injury updates.

Yep, that was a friendly little game between the Sens and Leafs.
