Kovy is a leader whether you like it or not....Being the captain of Team Russia isn't something you can be without any leadership.

Unless you guys know some players within the habs locker room, there's no way for you to know.

The only letters Kovalev should be wearing is the letters MAIL. Send him back where he comes from.

Im pretty sure you guys only think Russian dont have leaders because of the Canadian media bias. Living in Russia it was the same opinion in reverse.
I don't know why you say Russian team has no leaders. Kovalev is a good leader, Sergei Fedorov and Zhamnov who did not participate are known for their leadership skills, the latter captained the Hawks. Sergei Gonchar, Alexei Yashin and many others.
Unfortunately, you all think Yashin, Fedorov are overpaid crybabies because of the media bias, but this is not the case.

I say give him the "A" back. It's obvious that he could be a leader to me with the way he gives interviews, his long history in the NHL, the way he played while being an "A" last year, and his captaincy in Russia.

Whether you like him or not, he is the single most dangerous player on our team and he has to produce in order for his line and the overall team to be successful. If giving him more responsibility helps to get him interested in the game again and trying more consistantly, so be it. Maybe Carbo should swallow his pride and start working with the players instead of running a dictatorship.
