In my opinion, Andrighetto would be an upgrade over Briere and/or Gionta in terms of offense. I think he'd work wonders with Plek.
Tinordi is more ready than Pateryn though.

We'll be getting bigger with him replacing Gionta next year.

Tinordi reminds me of Bowser in the Mario Kart games. Give him some room and ain't nobody catching him.

I think he is. But that said, I think I'd rather see him stay in Hamilton longer. These last two games are pretty good examples of how he's showing more confidence with the puck. It may never be a big part of his NHL game, but still, the more he develops those skills and the confidence, I think it's better.

If we needed to, we could put Tinordi (or Pateryn) in our lineup, and I don't think they'd look terrible. They could handle it. But still, I'd prefer erring on the side of maximum development time possible with them. I'd pencil them in for Hamilton again next season too.

The Bulldogs are still playing through the Olympic break no? He could gain plenty of confidence in those games to get a call up.

Then again, nobody is getting a call up until some trades get made and bodies get moved.

Sven looks just like Cammalleri when puckhandling.

Does he? I didn't know he shot that hard. I had it in my mind that he was more of a playmaker.

IMO, Cammalleri's shot is more accurate than hard (not saying he's shooting softies..).

You have a point. But he's incredibly good at connecting with one timers.
