Was thinking the same thing.

With today's technology, the prime years start and end later in one's career.

So with Hossa, I'd say that he's entering his prime years, but it really doesn't matter because he's not all that good anyway so his prime years are what?? 10-20 points?

to me that's 4th line numbers at best.

He's got the ability to be a solid 30-40 point guy, but whether it ever will happen is another question. Unless he gets to play with better players his upside probably is 10-20 points a season. But at the least, the guy plays hard now and makes alot of solid hits.
