Leblanc under JM was great. Lots of hustle too. I wonder what happened... He needs, for his own good, to get traded.

I have to agree. Doesn't look like he has a future with the Habs for whatever reason. Unlike many posters here seem to think, I believe Leblanc could have some trade value, particularly to augment a larger centre piece in the trade. I wonder what Markov and Leblanc might bring if offered in a package. I think the return on Leblanc would be greater in such a trade than if traded alone. Just a thought...

I agree. Put some good players in a package with Leblanc and, then, you might get something decent in return.

The problem is, that really doesn't say much about Leblanc now, does it?

Man does Leblanc look like a twig! There's no way, with that frame, he will ever be dominant at the NHL level. No upper body, no torso, no legs! Trade him, ASAP, if you have a taker….

True enough. I guess my point was he might have some value to another team in a defensive role. That said, looking at those photos, Leblanc looks so thin he'd have to stand up twice in the same place and bend over JUST TO CAST A SHADOW.

In all seriousness, where is the nutritionist, conditioning guy, mentor people our players and prospects should be getting followed by. Leblanc doesn't have the skill set that allowed Ribs to have a good career in the NHL. Unless we plan out his meals and he puts in more conditioning time, yikes.

He was drafted nearly 5 years ago and was told that exact same thing since that day. If he hasn't added weight by now, he never will. He doesn't seem to have the drive to become an NHLer.

Then Habs should not have drafted him in the first round. Can we end the Leblanc fanboy posts? It's over. Much more excited by prospects like Ghetto. Let's move on.

Leblancs problem was his development. He went to the USHL, then the Q one year and then went to the AHL. The reason he is what he is now is because the organization guided him poorly and let him do what he pleased.

He played on three different leagues too soon and all of them have a different sort of game. He had no true role. He could have maybe been a 3rd liner with 2nd line flashes, but now he's more of a 4th liner with 3rd liner flashes.

The reason why Bergevin is keeping him in the AHL is for him to find a role and know what to do once he's called up. Although, I don't know if Lefebvre is capable of doing that.
Or maybe he's just sh-it?

1) While granted, muscle does mean something tangibly, strength training is different than bulking up.
2) If Leblanc is able to play to the level I've seen him play, with that frame, imagine if he DOES bulk up.

I agree, #feedleblanc (maybe he'll become a gros bonhomme).

It was disappointed to read stuffs like: Andrighetto is to small, another dwarf at Montreal or lots of people saying it was a wasted pick.

Sorry to tell this, but lots of people just saw his size and blasted at him. They judged him without really knowing him. But I knew Andrighetto has something special and I hope he will carry on open some eyes. But I have no doubt cause he is a real hard worker.
