rangers have a great schedule for the stretch run plenty of days for henke to rest. he just had two days off and after tonight im pretty sure they don't play till thursday. with 4 days off he'll come back fresh for another run of games
One other note about Dupuis: I erroneously reported that he’ll be wearing No. 98 based on a roster the team handed out last night. He’ll actually be wearing No. 61, so hopefully you can call the monogrammer in time
Still no definite word on whether or not Dupuis is going to see the ice because as Sam mentioned in his blog that there is a Georgetown Basketball game going on so it looks like we wont know untill much later on today. I'm kind of hoping that he doesnt come into the lineup tonight, only because it could disrupt any new found chemisty between the lines, but what do I know.
Nobody is saying he's Gretzky, he just adds much more to the offense that Brashear does or ever has (his best season points-wise was 28 points). All Brash does is take penalties; at least Avery contributes to the offense every once in a while.
All I am saying is that just by signing other teams rejects, how far can you possibly think of going into the playoffs. Dupuios, Avery, if Rangers mangmt. really cared about the fans the rebuild would have started last yr.
Jagr as your Captain will demoralize your team, take it from experience. Shanny, how many yrs. does he have left.
Solid in goal with Lundqvist, but I guess having Sather as the Gm is better than McPhee.
Hopefully this game is better than the last time we played in DC. Anyone remember that 3-1 BS effort they put forth last time? It was the day after we beat Atlanta, 5-2 I believe. If anyone's going and sitting in section 118, and some really annoying girl is there please dump a beer on her head for me, thanks.
