agreed but the Rangers must play like they did last night. And the Bruins must win vs the Islanders as well and the Pens must win vs the Leafs. Lets go Rangers , Pens and Bruins.

depends on the lines. if he chooses the same lines as yesterday, i could see us winning 4-2 or something like that.

If he changes things up, it could be seen as a negative, particularly when Hollweg and Orr playes their best games ever.

I will be in DC tonight

I will be at the game tonigt...and I will also be in the Caps end to harass Brashear to no end.

I will be wearing my "Brashear Is Garbage" T-shirt, and during pre-skate i will be pressing it up against the glass behind the caps net.

Let me know if anyone sees it on the tube.

Mark

I hope someone hits him in the head with a stick, oh wait that already happened. All he does is start fights, he cant play.

One other note about Dupuis: I erroneously reported that he’ll be wearing No. 98 based on a roster the team handed out last night. He’ll actually be wearing No. 61, so hopefully you can call the monogrammer in time
www.rangers.lohudblogs.com

Still no definite word on whether or not Dupuis is going to see the ice because as Sam mentioned in his blog that there is a Georgetown Basketball game going on so it looks like we wont know untill much later on today. I'm kind of hoping that he doesnt come into the lineup tonight, only because it could disrupt any new found chemisty between the lines, but what do I know.

If Dupuis plays, I'd gotta bet that Betts would be the one to sit, and we'd get a Dupuis-Hollweg-Orr.

What does Avery do? Oh , I forgot , he's the next coming of Wayne Gretzky.

I hope Brashear knocks his lights out all the way back to L.A.

Isn't there a bridge you should be guarding?

We need to get to Kolzig early in this game. It seems like anytime we play the Caps, and Kolzig is good early, he plays great games.

You're not serious are you? I sure hope not.

Brashear-51 games-2 goals-5 assists
Avery-55 games-10 goals-18 assists

Nobody is saying he's Gretzky, he just adds much more to the offense that Brashear does or ever has (his best season points-wise was 28 points). All Brash does is take penalties; at least Avery contributes to the offense every once in a while.

All I am saying is that just by signing other teams rejects, how far can you possibly think of going into the playoffs. Dupuios, Avery, if Rangers mangmt. really cared about the fans the rebuild would have started last yr.
Jagr as your Captain will demoralize your team, take it from experience. Shanny, how many yrs. does he have left.

Solid in goal with Lundqvist, but I guess having Sather as the Gm is better than McPhee.

What should the lines be tonight...

Straka/Nylander/Jagr
Dupuis/Krog/Shanahan
Prucha/Cullen/Avery
Orts/Betts/Hossa

Hopefully this game is better than the last time we played in DC. Anyone remember that 3-1 BS effort they put forth last time? It was the day after we beat Atlanta, 5-2 I believe. If anyone's going and sitting in section 118, and some really annoying girl is there please dump a beer on her head for me, thanks.
