Is Nash available?

Judging from the talk on other boards there appears to be a market for Nash. Is he available/expendable? And if so, what would it cost the Bruins to acquire him?

He's one of Francis's favorites. He's really added a much needed dimension to this team. Couple that with his close friendship ties to Shane Doan (which may have helped in his emergence as a dominant NHL power forward this season) and he's really not someone that I think they are anxious to deal at this point.

In terms of desirable assets from the Bruins? Much like the problem most of us have had when the Burke rumors propped up, there wasn't a lot in the cupboard that jumped out as being very appealing. I don't anticipate that the Bruins are anxious to deal Stuart and I don't see Phoenix dumping Nash for a mid-round draft pick. Phoenix's asking price is going to be very high.

Totally agree. I believe that the close and long friendship with Doan gives him some kind of virtual non-trade clause. You don't want to upset your captain who is the new marketed face of the franchise, do you?
