him being healthy after this year's playoffs doesn't really mean much for us next season

I just mean if he suffers another concussion I wouldn't go near him.

Here's an idea...

STOP SIGNING SENIOR CITIZENS!

If they are over 30, stop and think before you sign. One or two on a club is fine, but that's it. They don't hold up over the long season.

I generally agree with this but really the Flyers don't have a ton of old guys. Up front it's only Vinny (Hartnell is borderline I guess but age wise he is still in his prime). I guess age on D is an issue, you're probably flirting with disaster if you bring Kimmo back AND sign a Boyle or Markov. That's 3 really old dudes on the blue line, not sure how ideal that is. I think one or 2 veteran guys is OK, so if it's my call then if anything it's Kimmo OR Boyle, not both.

Ummmmm..usually UFA is around 27-28. So you kind of have no choice.

And since when is it bad to sign a player over 30?

Well usually after 30 their overall rating doesn't go up, usually because they have C or lower potential.

I'd like to see Matt Moulson, Matt Niskanen, and Jonas Gustafsson join the O&B as UFAs

I would re-sign Kimmo and wouldn't be opposed to bringing in Boyle for the right price, but besides that, I think signing any of these guys would be a mistake. We don't need Markov, an expensive backup, or another RW.
