Going to be a very interesting game. Many of the players know each other, donre have played together in the Austrian league. Either way this game ends, the winner will be a huge surprise quarter finalist.

I think Lange well get the start in goal again for the Austrians after his impressive play against Norway.

Despite Slovenia having beaten the odds, I'm rather sure that Austria wins this one.

It's weird to think that one of these teams are going to make it the top 8...

Whoever loses this it will be a very, very painful loss. It will be tough. Austrian should have the role of favourites. Its 3 NHLers against 1.
Maybe you dont know, but we already played one game in Sochi with Austria. It was a training game before the start and behind closed doors. It was 4-1 for Austrians.

If Slovenia has anything left in the tank, I believe they win, but win or lose, hats of to the little country that could in Sochi.
If Austria wins, and Vanek wakes up, I believe they could upset Sweden or at least scare them. The Vanek-Raffl-Grabner line has to be firing on all cylinders.

Team Austria are definitely slight favorites, but the Slovenian team does have a realistic shot of making another monumental upset here for their programme.

Slovenia Beat Slovakia but i think Austria is a little bit harder to beat this moment.
Its one Game and the mental thinks not unimportant.

Vanek look in moment lazy, but vanek can go strong wen he find his way on the Ice.

Slovenia should get a bit of a lift having Kovacevic back in the lineup. His suspension left a bit of a hole in the game against USA. It will be interesting to see if one of the teams steps up to be a little more offensive minded. Austria has more NHLers, but Mursak is in that class having played for Detroit and Kopitar can not only shut down Vanek, but he can be a game breaker as well. The game may be decided more by the 2nd and lower lines.

Kopitar only played 11 mins against the USA and is battling a stomach virus requiring blood tests at the hospital. I hope he's OK and that he has something left in the tank.

Kopitar was in hospital, he drank some redehidration shakes and he feels fine. Maybe he wont be 100%, but it will be ok.
I do believe our team will be more motivated. Slovenia deffo has bigger heart than Austria.

You have to understand that for Slovenia Austria is in ice-hockey opponent, that cause the highest motivation for our players. Even higher than best teams in the world. This is because of our joint league (EBEL) where our teams always felt that they are not equally treated from officials, referees...

I'm not sure if Austria see us the same way but I know for our team tommorow is acceptable result only win and nothing else. It doesn't matter how, just win. And that this match will give one QF is just extra bonus.

2003 WC (Finland); Austria vs Slovenia 6:2
2005 WC (Austria); Austria vs Slovenia 2:6

2011 WC (Slovakia); Austria vs Slovenia 3:2
2012 WC Div I (Slovenia); Austria vs Slovenia 2:3

You can stream everything on CBC.ca.

Incredible coverage, you litterally cannot miss a second of action since everything is covered (12 webcast cameras + the channels: CBC, Sportsnet, Sportsnet One, TSN and TSN2).

This particular match will be streamed in HD quality on their website.
