I'm pretty sure he just signed an extension with promise of another job in the organization when that runs out.

And I'll go with Mike McCarron as he seems like the kind of guy that's going to take many years to develop and would fetch a nice return for a Montreal team trying to compete now.

I would be shocked if the Flames traded away Klimchuk this early. Burke was high on him enough that he signed him already. Local kid too. Don't see it happening.

Edmonton trades #2 pick (Ekblad) for Lazar.

This. It's unfortunate, I really thought Erne was going to be good for TB but looks like he won't play there. Would Erne for Bigras be a fair trade?

By all accounts Dickinson has been excellent for Guelph - playing all 200ft. Really don't see him being traded away, especially given the Stars lack of depth at C.

What link do you have that makes it seem like he won't play for us? That hit was blown way out of proportion, it wwasn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

The trade would be fair value wise but makes no sense, we have no need for more LHD and need a power forward type LW.

Would not be the least bit surprised to see Mueller go. We have clear needs of a top 4 d-man, and to a far lesser degree a top 9 forward (depending on Hertl), and limited assets to do it.

Monahan is going nowhere, and I doubt they'd trade Poirier or Klimchuk.

Nothing specific, I've just read A LOT of TB fans saying they wanted him out. So I was under the impression that he was available.

I'd still tell him where to go and what to put in his mouth.

Someone said Hartman on CHI for a #2C, that one makes sense. Who was the Sharks 2nd rounder(s) this year? They should be loading up for another run this year IMO

Might you provide us a Source ?

Because the Lightning fans here on HF didn't say anything like that. We all agreed that the overall reaction was overblown and that it shouldn't cause big problems for the club.

If montreal is a contender next year Fucale could be traded.

There was a thread about it on here but I can't find it, must've been closed or deleted by a mod.

Theodore's value is increasing as he is having a phenomenal season. Sorensen is also proving to be a pretty good 2nd round pick.

These two guys aren't untradeable, I could see then being shipped in the summer or next year season to bring the final pieces of the puzzle to make the Ducks a serious contender. But not for rentals. Well, maybe Sorensen in a Girardi deal...

Good choice, given Price will be around a long time, but Fucale is a second rounder so wouldn't count for this.

Montreal was ridiculously high on Morin. Good forbid but if they can't come to terms with Subban, Holmgren will be in on it. The return might be something like Morin+Top 4 Dman+good top six forward or maybe even more. Or he might just try a crazy offer sheet .

Considering their organizational depth in net sucks why would they do that ? if Price is injured long term Montreal is screwed.
