On February 27, Gainey will trade Aebisher for Theodort and Theo will lead us to the cup this year

Huet for me. But Price is the one that's going to lead us to the cup.

Huet all the way, this is a no doubter. So now someone needs to let Carbo know that.

If it was up to me, at gunpoint, to keep one of the two guys, I'd have to go with Cristobal.

Option C. I don't really have any confidence in either goalie at this point.

The habs will ride both of them to borderline/ordinary NHL goaltending until the end of season.

I don't think they will "lead" the team anywhere, probably not even in the playoffs.

Huet has to be the guy to lead us down the stretch, I would like to see Abby get some quality games in as well, but Huet has to take the biggest share of games I think.

huet will be the man who the team will live or die with. a big win this week versus jersey will be our boys turning point.

Huet. I am convinced having both goalies is contributing to the problems. You can't just go to Abby after a bad game or two. Ride Huet like the Leafs are riding Raycroft. When he's on, Huet is just awesome.

Huet. Aebischer can't get the Habs to the playoffs, much less lead them to a win in the first round. At least Huet can get hot for awhile, while Aebischer seldom rises above his mediocre norm.

Why put all of the pressure on the goalies? It's not the goalies who have to take us to the playoffs, it's the players. They haven't been doing anything lately. THE PLAYERS WILL LEAD US TO THE PLAYOFFS.

Where's Eric Fichaud or J-F Damphousse?!! (seriously...where are they now?).

Ok, seriously (part two!)...

Huet, or...

Carbo will try to go with Huet (sooner than later) OR ride the hottest goalie.

IMO, Carbo will let Huet play 3-4 games in a row and Huet will deliver the goods...at least I hope so!

Nice to see al the realist fans posting their true thoughts. Huet or Aebischer won't lead us to didly squat this year. Maybe a first round exit. I said in an earlier thread we might as well bring in Danis this year and give him a head start as backup, so he can be in a much stronger position to contend for #1 next year.

When we get scored on in less that a minute 3 out of 6 periods against Ottawa, how the heck are the players supposed to react, especially during a slump you think?

Well with the Goaltending we've had over the past few games, we really need the Goalies to step up and deliver the merchandise.
