Fell asleep and missed the first two periods... glad to hear the boys have played a solid game.

Despite the lack of goals I can't complain how the team is playing.

See that's how you play a puck support game. Hope Eakins was watching.

Lol, Lowe looked happy there.

Kind of a boring game, but I'll take it. Price was good but we probably got a lucky break there on that Statsny play.

Our D shut them down pretty much otherwise.

Anyone complaining about lack of goal scoring now?

Except maybe my heart, that was tense.

the better team won without question.... we held 75% of the play, and the US had no answer for our cycle game.... the US hadn't seen a defence like canada's before either, too big and too fast... anytime the US players were streaking up the wing, the canadian defenders were able to close the gap, whereas other countries defence simply couldn't skate with the US wingers

like i said, the better team won

Haha. He's not entirely wrong, lots of people are criticizing the Russian coach. A shame, I would've loved to have played them in this Olympics.

Alright! Let's go for Gold! Blow out for Canada 8-0!!!! (Doubt it but weirder things have happened). Actually I would laugh so hard if Lundqvist lets in a Tommy Salo goal with 20 seconds left to let Canada win by 1 goal. THAT'S my real prediction!

healy was telling the truth there, i usually don't like healy, but the russian coach DID act very stupidly in the loss to finland (and all tournament really)

Credit to Bergeron who played an excellent game.

Carlson was very good for the States.

also, Benn played well. He could have scored more than 1.

We've been hearing about awful Russian coaching/personnel decisions for years even at the junior level.

Didn't hear what Healy said, but it can't be as bad as LeBrun's article.

Gold Medal game starts at FIVE EH EM?!? Come on... Makes no sense to award the bronze medal last.

Quite amazing puck support and transition game considering this isn't really a team. Really did a good job and everybody playing their part in a support role. Crosby on down as roll players and the only thing that matters is winning. Would've been nice to rub it in but 1 is all you need.

Yeah like I noted after the Latvia game the Canadian D and team play has been pretty good. Not giving teams much of anything. Weren't going to give the US much either and tbh I wasn't even worried. Canada dominated this game and dictated the way it was played from the opening. Quick kept his club in it.

I'm really enjoying hearing all the Americans cry on the main board
