Interesting period. Sweden is giving up way more than I would have thought but they also had a few shifts were they really got the cycle going better than anyone else has previously against canada

Jitters in the first 9 minutes but they got their legs under them and began to look real good, the Toews goal was MONSTROUS. The man love I have for this player is growing every day.

The Swedes have been really good with getting their sticks in the lanes and breaking up plays.

Duchene should be on Crosby's LW

This might be more dominating than the game against the US so far. 75% of the play is in the Swedish zone.

If Healy makes one more asinine comment about the injuries to Sweden's stars I'm gonna lose it. They have lots of depth as well, they can still score and come back easily if Canada lets up. Healy is just awful

The Swedes have had more chances though even if some of them are coming off broken plays/deflections. That is how you are going to score against Canada.

Still though, excellent period from Canada. 20 minutes to go baby. Just do what you've done the entire tournament. Keep up the pressure and don't give an inch up.

Kunitz with a bullet. What. A. Shot.

I don't think he's been nearly as bad as some have insinuated. Glad he got one there.

This Canada team is amazing.
