who will be the "starter"?

You think they will split time like Manny and Rolly did back in the day? Depending on how bad Fernandez is actually hurt.

Well either Manny is hurt or someone is gone. There is no reason to carry 3 tenders

They say Manny is not seriously injured. I doubt Harding will see any action but I hope I'm wrong.

Manny left the game after 4 shots I think on Saturday. Looks like he pulled his groin.

Manny injured his knee. They don't expect him to be out long. Harding was just brought up just in case...

It'd be nice to see him get a start.

So Manny is hurt for real? I was going to suggest Manny was going to be dealt. I read somewhere that he is being shopped but with a high asking price. Apparently when the Wild does good, he takes credit but when the team does bad he refuses to say he is part of hte problem. Sorry if this is re post.

Funny reason to trade a guy. And if anything he's said the opposite to the papers here.

you must have read Garrioch's sunday column...

I highly doubt we will deal him when we are sitting in the 8 spot, 2 points out of the division lead.

I'm guessing Harding was called up again for Thursday night? He's not dressed for the Aeros' matinee game, and while I guess that could just be "a precaution" I'd imagine they'd want to get him on a plane pretty soon if he were going to be with the big club in time for tonight's game.

Haven't seen anything official on it via the Aeros' site, though.

Seems like the knee is still injured. They probably called up Harding to back up Backstrom again.

Thanks for the info. We're winless without Harding, so it's a good thing I didn't take a sick day to go to this afternoon's game

I wish they would put Harding in nets one of these games. I want to see if he still has it in the big show.

Well, not tonight...

From www.wild.com :

"Niklas Backstrom will make a career-high third straight appearance between the pipes tonight."

Based on this quote, I think it is unlikely he plays at all:

Lemaire said goalie Josh Harding will get a chance to play only if things go south for Backstrom.

Shame, I have Harding in a dynasty league. Was hoping he'd get a few starts in. You think he has a good shot at starting next season?

No. We've now got 3 NHL-caliber goalies. I think there's a chance that we move one of them. I would guess that Backstrom is the most likely to get traded. If'n Backstrom gets traded, then, yes, Harding will get some starts next season.

Great article today on Twincities.com - Risebrough recognizes his depth in net, but will not consider moving Harding or Manny. However, he made it known Backstrom would be moved for the right price.....Otherwise, they are prepared to lose him for nothing this summer. -Z
