Guess I wasn't very clear on my point... I'm definitely ok with him talking more about the Canuck players than the Thrasher players. What I have a problem with when I listen to "homer" announcers is how their team is never in the wrong. For example, any marginal call that doesn't go their way is a bad call. Oh well, guess I'm just grumpy that the Thrashers lost. I actually liked listening to the the play by play guy and I liked listening to Kelly Hrudy's comments too. I really need to catch HNIC more often.

Jeez...that was an exciting game!

With any luck we will meet again...in the playoffs!

Many true Canuck fans like Garrett? You sure as hell don't speak for me buddy as I think Garrett's a thinly-veiled homer who knows a little bit about the game, but that is usually offset by a few dumb comments he'll make.

"Oh yes, gloves up to the elbows would be a good thing" - Something like that, in response to Hughson giving Garrett a little jab, who of course was oblivious.

"I think many teams will be interested in Dustin Brown at the deadline."

Hughson - "He's 21!"

Finally got my comp working again, it's so retarded when somebody intentionally destroys your property for no apparent reason... bloody hackers...

No matter, the crappy thing is that we lost...again...we need to start grabbing wins and fast...

Too bad the Thrashers only showed up in the 3rd period.

A lackluster effort from a team that should have more jump to it.

I was shocked that CBC had Garrett doing the game. Canucks are my Western team and his commentary's god-awful. At least we have the best play-by-play guy in the league in Jim Hughson, but Garrett is just brutal.

Thrashers seem to be good at playing rope-a-dope, which may make them dangerous in the playoffs. I'm hoping against hope that my Sens don't have to play you guys in the first round. Canucks looked like world-beaters at the start, but you guys were awfully close to completing the comeback in the 3rd and getting to OT.

Great game! Part of me will always cheer for whatever team Marian Hossa plays for.

I believe Hedberg

And I might be attending too, but the goalie isnt really all that important to me, as long as the Thrash pull off a big win. Preferably a blowout

Just wanted to say hi from the Nucks board.

It was a great treat to be able to watch Hossa and Kovalchuk play.
Wish we'd get to see the teams from east abit more here but the sched is what it is.
