Still shouldn't have gone to overtime if the refs knew how to call penalties correctly. That whole sequence with Marchand was just terrible.

Yeah, good luck with that. They'll increase by 50 next year.

The Habs had one scoring chance all night (except the goal). They tie it with 25 sec to go on a perfect backhand shot that he gets off once in a thousand attempts or something. They had 14 shots after 59:20 played. Should have pulled away 2 more points ahead against them, instead the gap is the same (and Lightning can pull one point closer). And the ref job in our game... Was it Van Massenhoven?

and this is why I hate using NHL players in the Olympics...right when team s are rolling mid-way through the season....they take a nice 2 week break and lose focus and any momentum. And then you have to sit through games like this. I give full credit to Buffalo, they saw weakness (ocho-cinqo) and they took full advantage of it. Sloppy game on D but that is why you have a guy between the pipes....to bail your ass out from time to time....Chad-J did not...I don't like him as our back-up...I thought it was a stupid decision to let Dobby walk. I hope we won't regret it down the stretch.

Are really taking Chad Johnson into the playoffs? Tonight's game was simply awful.

I was thinking the same thing. What a terrible day to be a Bruins fan, huge price increase followed by a laughable loss.

Bad game/ending but at least it was against a meaningless opponent.

Still, we have 8pts lead atop the division.

The real Chad Johnson showed up tonight. He had played surprisingly well this year despite very little lateral ability, guy must be the least talented goalie in the NHL, have to pray Rask dosen't get injured or we are cooked.

How do you know that? If Rask goes down in a game, this is what we have to work with.

what if he had to? Last season, I had full confidence in Dobby....this season....No faith in Chad-J at all.

But then again I am biased...I have never liked him and always though he was garbage.

Risk of injury for Rask...if he is injured and we have Johnson in net the season is over...

Johnson is dreadful

I honestly think that he is one of the worst goalies I have watched...and my opinion predates his Bruin days.

He was garbage in the preseason. He's been alright the few games (usually against easier opposition) he's played in the regular season, except 2-3 wraparound goals. But he hasn't really saved us any points, the D usually plays solid (even tonight, they had a few mistakes, but seemingly every scoring chance turned into a goal).

Why not Philadelphia(66 points) as an opponent?

I don't think there was any amount of money we could have offered Dobby to keep him here. Look at him in Carolina; according to LeBrun he more than likely is the Canes starter for the rest of the season, with Ward making sporadic starts. Dobby got what he wanted; and that was to get more starts/be a starter. He sure as heck wasn't going to get that here.

At least we got a point and some offense. But man, that defense and Johnson...yeesh.
