A little more motivation for Chia to get a decent blueliner.

All defenses fail...goalies pick up the pieces...or at,least they are supposed to. The good ones do it on a more regular basis. Johnson always makes me nervous because he looks slow to react and anticipate. He is just not an NHL caliber goalie....never has been.

I don't know why they didn't opt to start with Svedberg tonight.

He's only going to be up for another night or two... might as well let him play while he's here. Whatever.

Not sure I have ever seen a goalie move as slow as Johnson, still think the job should have been Svedberg's. It will be interesting to see how many games CJ gives Johnson down the stretch, you want Rask fresh for the playoffs, but every game that Rask sits is a potential loss with this clown in nets.

CJ is also at the lowest price point, which is why Svedberg is not starting.

Is there a worst back up among the top 6 or 8'teams in the league? Don't think so

Uh...if Rask goes down Johnson continues to be backup. There is no way Svedberg doesn't start in that situation.

Are any of them paying their starter as much as Rask is making?

Sveddy should have played, he was in game shape since he was playing games for Pro, meanwhile Johnson was sitting at home adjusting his attributes to actually be a decent goalie in NHL 14

The only player on the ice worse than Ochocinco was Chara. I mean the winning goal was almost the least of his mistakes. He should have been given the Rask treatment tonight.

It's an easy game to move past but I still think you gotta replace Johnson. His luck has run out

Not true. If they dress two goaltenders, it's either Rask or Johnson. Unless you are demoting Johnson and calling up Svedberg for the playoffs.

I'm thinking that rather than support on defense, the Bruins need a backup to Rask. If Rask were to get injured, this team is ****ed.

Too much overreaction. Hard to draw any firm conclusions from a ridiculous game like this one.

I've seen what Chad Johnson can do and for a backup goalie he really isn't that bad. He seems a bit slow (especially to the wrap around) but he has also had some really good games. It's the first game right after the olympic break....so I wouldn't draw too many conclusions from it. We'll see how he does for the rest of the season. I didn't think he was that bad tonight but surely not as good as we have seen him be before.

Anyway, my $.02, and you get exactly what you paid for it.

I thought the team actually played pretty well all things considered. I don't know if Chad Johnson made a big save all night. Seemed like anything that was around the net ended up in the back of it.

When Krejci is playing loose and lazy, that top line has issues defensively. Both Lucic and Iginla are sub-par from the blueline in. They need Krejci to be active. Lucic woke up after the terrible boarding call, but he still needs to be better when it comes to moving his feet on the defensive side of the puck.
