Speak for yourself, the only thing the Olympics lacked were MSE's GDTs

You have received the gold medal for such a contribution.

Anyways, I feel like the Flyers were running on plenty of momentum on their current win streak. The break probably killed a lot of momentum.

Not counting them out, but my hopes aren't very high. Should be a decent game though.

And this is from a little earlier;

David Pollak ‏@PollakOnSharks 17m
Not what anybody sitting here thought on #JSharks lines: 8-19-88, 12-39-9, 13-10-81 or 18, 15-37-57.

The first post has been updated as much as possible with lines and pairings. And also increased Coburn's age by one digit, this being his birthday.

I can't believe I will be seeing a Flyers game tonight. That break was ridiculous and I'm now having second thoughts about this whole Olympic participation. World Cup would be just fine.

and he's the longest tenured Flyer as well

I would love to see someone catch that coward, marty "crotch-kicker" havalt with his head down tonight-it still pisses me off that he was sitting in the box unscathed during that now legendary brawl right before the lockout...ancient history now

I feel like I've waited an entire offseason for this game... normally I enjoy watching the olympics but this year seemed extremely boring to me. I definitely prefer the NHL sized rinks.

Yeah I felt exactly the same way. Last Olympics seemed much more exciting. This one was anticlimactic IMO. I also do not like the Olympic sized rinks or at least how slowly it took players who weren't used to it to adjust. Obviously some players never did and looked out of place altogether. I mean yeah it might cut down on injuries but I want to see some actual forechecking and zone establishment!

I have to be up at 6.30am... and the game finishes at 2.30am.

Think I may go and catch a couple of hours sleep now.

Yeh, I say 'live' but 'get through a day' is more accurate. Not much brain function when i'm on the 4.

HA, I'm not even sure it cut down on injuries.
