Rallying Cry!!

I did this at around the same time last year and we came within one goal of the Stanley Cup. Unfortunately we are in this position again of sneaking into the big dance, but I think it can be done. This team has more than enough gas left in the tank. The season is a marathon, not a sprint.

So this is it - big road trip and around the corner, down the stretch they come! GET'R DONE BOYS!!!

GO OILERS GO!!!

Dude why did u have to post that. The emotions I get when watching that are every bit as intense as the very first time. Its a cut that will require years to heal, if ever it can.

It hurts to watch that knowing that we lost game 7... but those memories, that run will always be one of my favourite couple of months being an Oiler fan. I was so extremely proud of what they did in those playoffs, and looking back on it should make us all proud and satisfied of what they did, when nobody gave them a chance.

If they would have lost in the conference finals we would have. I mean, who gets disappointed when thinking about the Marchant goal? Nobody. Its because we were so ****ing close that it was like having your heart ripped out of your body but you were left alive and had to watch that heart beat outside of your body while in excruciating pain. Pronger demanding a trade was then like getting pissed on the face two minutes later.... **** I want that no good mother ****ing low life ****'s throat slit.

I see no reason not to be optimistic at this point, it was a damn tough loss tonight but games like that happen at times and all three of Minnesota, Vancouver and Calgary will lose similar games down the stretch. We don't need to win every game, we simply need to match Minnesota's play and beat them in the head-to-heads.

Agreed!

Besides, if we maintain this "win 2 games, lose 1 game" trend, we will make the playoffs!

Time to shift our focus to Buffalo, GO OILERS GO!!!!

I hear that..

(I still haven't seen any footage of them with the cup, I more or less stormed out of the room with about 3 seconds to go in the game).

Also.. GO OIL! It should be another breath taking run to the finish, and part (albeit small) of me wouldn't want it any other way.
