Trotz to shake up forward lineup

Trotz will also have defenseman Shea Weber on the ice. He has missed three games with a jaw injury. Trotz would not say if Vishnevski would be paired with Weber.

First period's going to be crucial for both teams. Sharks have to jump ahead by 2 or more before the first period's over or I think the Preds will win. Whether the Preds come back or just take it from the onset, I'm not sure but the Sharks have no business winning this game on the road on the backend of a back-to-back against the best team in the West.

Good luck tonight boys and girls. These two teams always have very close and very exciting games when they play each other, so I'm expecting another one.

The Sharks have no business winning this game? Who do you think we are, the Kings?

going with seven d-men tonight, wonder if they use the "zanon pk specialist" formula we wondered about.

or maybe they limit weber's icetime while he's getting back into it.

OR NOT, they showed Mason in net in the pregame, but Vokoun was just announced as the starter.

Sullivan seeing time on the fourth line, doubleshifted with 7 d-men.

FIrst line is flying, tonight, already with 2 odd-man rushes.

wow, Nabokov in, Toskala out.

Weber with a big blast from the point, looks like Dumont re-directed it.

Unbelievable about the media too, it's like they don't want to see the Predators succeed. Tis a shame. Just means the faithful who do know and care and show up just have to be that much louder, which, for the crazy fans I met last time I was there in October, shouldn't be a problem.

Vish draws a 4 minute penalty on MIke Grier. The penalty is "stupidity" in P and T's words

I think the extra two was stupidity, but Vish did run el capitan, some retaliation was in order.

you're right. 4 minute penalties are worth it, every time.

But I suppose you're the authority on imbecile announcers, listening to Drew Remenda for so long. It must be interesting trying to figure out which penalties called on the Sharks are genuine these days, without Kojak there to deem them bad calls.
