It was a great comeback win after not having the greatest of 1st periods! Good to see our PP still going strong after the olympic break, but good Lord our PK needs some help in a bad way!!
At least you survived my daughter's phone assault in the third.

What you heard was me trying not to go into a full period long obscenity laced tirade. The PK sucked. We can blame Hutton for the softie all we want but that was a goal the Bolts should have scored moments earlier. Karma. The PP was deadly, buy we can't relapse into dependence on PP scoring. Weber continued his play from before the break which is a good sign with the only major gaffe when he was caught out and couldn't change leading to their first goal ... A series of errors there.

Hey, where'd this optimism suddenly come from?

Oh, that's right - we won a game after being gone for a few weeks, and... PEKKA IS IN MILWAUKEE.

Good comeback Preds!!

It never really feel like the team was down 0-2. Just had that feeling if they could get one, they could come all the way back.

3 PPGs, nice job guys!!

Listening to Clune on the post game Trotz told the team to keep at it. Said he liked what he saw of them in the first and kept the guys calm. Said Trotz would tell the team if they were playing good or bad, regardless of the score. (Not just last night but in general.)

Really, Trotz thought they played well in the first and came out ready to play? I was ready to kill someone with how lethargic they looked. They looked like they were skating in sand, had no chemistry but at least kept themselves within striking distance to get back in it. Luckily Clune gets into a scrap which to me was hysterical because he can't fight but it got the crowd in to it and in doing so go the crowd in to it, they take a stupid penalty and boom, we're right back in it. Go figure. I was thinking of leaving after the first.

It was fun being back there for a game. Glad we won. Let's see what the next week holds for our guys.

LOL. But he made two plays on St. Louis in the closing 30 seconds that sealed the game. He broke up a back door pass where Marty was all alone on the back door which was a gorgeous play by him and then he mugged Marty along the boards and in doing so cleared the puck to virtually run out the clock. He took care of business at the most important time of the game. And yeah, he was a -1 for the night.

Good thing for power plays and the Preds D.

-Goal 1 a mans pass by Ellis. No chance if Ellis doesn't put it on the center of Cullen stick on the power play.

-Goal 2 wide open power play bomb by Josi set up by a great keep in by Weber.

-Goal 3 a lucky creasy tap in by Horny after a shot from Fish on the power play.

Huge win! Great start from the Preds.

Goal 1- Agreed. This is one thing I've noticed getting better before the break. The passing from the point has been fantastic lately.

Goal 2- Yep. Josi and Weber looking great together. Each got about 28 mins last night.

Goal 3- That's why Horny is awesome. Because all of his goals are "lucky" or garbage. He puts his butt on the line in that crease every game and picks those up often.

On a tangentially related game note, Shea Weber's Gold Medal from Sochi was on display for season ticket holders before the game. Pretty cool to see that hunk of gold up close and personal!

The first period was pretty even. The second goal was one Hutton would want back for sure. No clue why he was backed into the net as much as he was but oh well. The second and third periods we really dominated play. Tampa is a good team to and this was not going to be an easy win. If the Predators play like this the rest of the year consistantly I can see them making a run for that final playoff spot. The key is "consistantly" as we have lacked that all year to this point.

Wewt big win! Great comeback; that is the type of game that can hopefully build some momentum for us here. Big game against the Jets tomorrow. Go Perds!

Sigh.... If the Preds could get some forwards that are as dynamic as the defense....

Last night was so much fun....after the 1st period. I wasn't really surprised with the start but was very nicely surprised with the fight to get back in it. Lots of energy in the crowd after the Clune scrap. He did his job.

Got it from Riverfront Station.....

It wasn't me, but that's who makes it. They have plenty of good Preds shirts.

That torso is what remains of a member of the Russian ice crew hit by a Webs shot during warmups. Russian tradition apparently dictates that the shooter takes the torso to avoid offending the family.
