12 now. Yeesh, no mercy in these kids.

Moroz with 2G 3A, Samuelsson with 2G 2A, and Petryk with 1G 4A.

Wow, 12-0 final. I'm getting the feeling this team can really turn it on big time when needed. They look like they can beat anyone, but Portland will be the toughest test.

They were probably pissed off at the two straight losses. Decided enough was enough and really took it out on Lethbridge, which is probably the worst case scenario for the Hurricanes because they are the worst team in the league.

Oil Kings get clocked 5-1 tonight by the Giants, which makes it 3 straight games in a row that I have attended they have lost. Given how often they win, I'm feeling like a bad omen atm.

On the bright side, Houck got 2 of Vancouver's goals and looked generally solid. Also, Mayo did a WWE style throwdown of one of the Giants at the end of the game which was worth sitting through a boring third period.

My fourth loss in a row attending. Feeling like a curse, or just totally ripped off. Funny thing is, all four losses I could tell after mere minutes that the OKs just didn't have the goods. Yecch. They'd better at least show up on Wednesday.

Oil Kings seem to have cooled off a bit as of late. Since the big win streak ended, they're 3-2-1 in the last six.

Ice/Oil Kings would be a good series. They always play us well and have been particularly hot since the trade deadline.

Yecch. They coughed up a 3-1 lead to lose in overtime. Five losses in a row for me. Moroz looking too stupid to compete at the AHL level next year. Too many dumb penalties, very little constructive competitive spirit. Orban outright ****ing blows. We're just not a great team without Reinhart.

Good play by Kulda and Eller tonight. The rest...not so much.

Or, you know, they played a bad game. That happens from time to time.

LOL I don't need to take your word for it.

2 wins, 6 losses in games I've attended this year. That's a special "Oilers" kind of awful.

We've got to many D trying to play Forward and getting caught up ice. As of late the D haven't been scoring but have been caught up ice way to much.

I also wonder if maybe the Oil Kings began believing their own press clippings a bit too much. Doesn't matter how many consecutive games you've won; you still need to play your hearts out in each and every one if you want a shot at winning.

Also, I propose that Psycho Dad be temporarily banned from attending any OK games in the near future....

We are missing some key contributors. Bertolucci and Baddock up front and Griffin Reinhart on the back end. That makes all the difference in the world.

Bertolucci should be back this weekend, Baddock out rest of Reg season. Reinhart should be back along with Irving on D for this weekend.

What happened at the end of today's game?

I see a bunch of boarding penalties, game misconducts and fighting majors.

Nikkel flew off the bench at the final buzzer and went at Reinhart as the OKs were celebrating their victory. Millar was third man in about half a minute before that. Some pretty cruddy sportsmanship by Saskatoon there.

Good signing for the Av's. I really didn't like Corbett for a while but he's gotten better each season and took a huge step offensively this year (set a franchise records for points by a dman).

So does this mean that Corbett leaves the Oil Kings and heads to the AHL?

Nope, just that he's Avs property now.

Get this man playoff pass ASAP!

The Kings are having trouble closing out games lately- they dropped a 4-3 decision to SC the other night.

Congrats to Corbett. Well deserved.
