Not sure what you're getting at... Remenda usually has decent objectivity. He is about 10x as objective a Marty McSorely/ Randy Hahn combo that the Sharks have going for them right now.

i haven't heard hahn with mcsorley yet, but every time i saw remenda over the past few years, he was griping about this and that...a lot of the time not justifiably.
Gotcha... I feel we was more towards the average commentator, but maybe I just feel that way after listening to a half season of blatant, blatant homerism.
i have to say good luck pred fans in the playoffs imma flyer fan but as you know i cant cheer for them in the playoffs so im rooting for the preds only because imma tennessee boy

Vokoun almost did it again. He commits to the skater and almost goes diving completely out of the net when the play is the to right, leaving the net completely vacated. Marleau spun back around and we blocked the shot, but Vokoun was still completely out of the net. It's concerning because this has never been a tendency of his in the past, and I don't see how it could be related to rust or his injured finger.
i've loved what i've seen from Vish tonight...not just the hits, but little things...like knowing where to put the puck when it's loose in the crease(into vokoun's pads, rather than out blindly into the slot, as i've seen happen a lot in the past couple of seasons) and with his ability to squeeze a player off the puck along the boards.
Is Vokoun's stick attached to his cast.. Instead of extending his stick he seems to be extending his arm more, which moves him out of position.
I don't think it is, but he did say that it's hard for him to lift his stick right now, that he gets pain when he does it. he said he's fine playing the puck and when the blade is on the ice, but not when he lifts to poke check or make stick saves.
Did he score 2 goals tonite or just the one, cause on espn it has weber on the 4th goal, and cbssportsline it has hartnell for the 4th goal, so i have no clue who scored the 4th goal lol

honestly, i don't think he scored either. dumont looked like he got his stick on the first, and hartnell definitely got his stick on the second.
Both are intially credited to Weber, but if one has Hartnell..it means it was likely changed to reflect that.

Weber has been GREAT against thornton, as well
I was very impressed by Vishnevski, he didn't play all tht much but I didn't see him lose one puck battle on the boards. Very solid and drew a couple penalties as well. All-around great first game for him.

he had 14 minutes(as predicted, zanon's was cut way back to around 9, most of that on the PK) which put him just below Zidlicky and Timonen. Hamhuis was the only d-man to play BIG minutes.
attendance 13,826...sheesh. Dont read the paper in the morning.
Valentines day and Church night... Not where we want to be attendance wise but not terrible based the day. Screw what the paper says. I think attendance will be strong for the remaining games.
poor schedueling by the nhl and preds marketing isn't helped by the weather. why get out when you can stay home and watch. college night during the same night vandy has a home game. but hey the next game is a sellout.
as for my part i think have tixs to both the yotes on monday and the habs on thursday next week.

Apparently, Saturday's game is NOT a sellout...yet.
Terry excitedly exclaimed, "Get your tickets, there's under a thousand remaining!"
