I hope we can trade Legwand.
Add a Left Winger who can score.

Sign legwand.
That's about all I can hope for, I have had my hopes up before for too many things, so I think small just like poile. Then your not as badly disappointed.

Maybe he makes a trade for a 4th line grinder or a defenseman? That's probably our biggest need in his eyes.

-Trade Legwand for something remotely similar to Erat trade.

-Package Ellis and Wilson if you can get a legit top 6 forward offer.

-Trade Goose for a 1st or NHL ready offensive forward prospect. If that won't do it add Bourque

-Call up Watson and Beck

Trade or resign Legwand.

Trade Cullen if Legwand remains.

I would love to see him acquire a top 6 forward that has some contract length ...

Why? Ellis is blossoming in to the exact player we thought he'd be. Wilson is the future at center whether people want to believe or not. He's looked better there than at wing. Playing him with a grinder and a winger with speed is not the answer. If Legwand is moved then he'll get moved up to play between Smith and Spaling/Bourque and I bet he'll show his stuff with a guy who finishes in Smith.

Other ideas I like, except for adding Bourque.

Oh believe me i reallly don't want to let Ellis go. But if we could get away with getting a "legit top 6 C or LW" for Ellis and Wilson i do it. Nothing less.

I've said before i like Wilson but he just hasn't gotten it done.

I also make the move because i think it's time for Beck or Watson to be in Nashville. If not they need to be traded. To make room for the young guys coming.

Unless he can get draft picks, I don't want him doing anything. This team is not worth making a trade.

Beck and Watson need to be in Milwaukee for the rest of the season and for the playoffs. They still have some problems playing against some AHL players. The NHL players will show them up big time at the moment. Nashville will have 2 better players on their roster for next season if they are smart. There is also the possibly that Trotz will be gone. I see that as a positive move. He won't be able to turn more offensive talent into 4th line grinders and ruin those two guys, a la Doghouse Wilson.

That works.

Also troll Edmonton by saying 'Yeah, you can have Weber for Hall, RNH, your 1st and a Petry.'

We don't need a top 6 forward, we need a top three. Otherwise keep Ellis and legs

Yeah legs will get us far. -See: Last 10 years.

Beggers can't be choosers only thing bringing in a top 3 is Josi or Weber..

With the youth movement on our D core, I'd rather pick up young Fwds that have top 6 potential rather than sell off a ton a pieces for a Kessler.

Can I call it now, We somehow pick up Eberle or Evander Kane? Maybe not at the Deadline but possibly this summer.

If i'm right (Which I'm probably not) would someone buy me a cookie?

Trade Legwand for a 1st. Manage to trade said 1st + for a young forward. (or for Kessler)

I know people would be screaming that Kessler isn't a #1 but on the Preds he would be.

He has actually been here more than ten years, he played in our first ever season.

And we could get a top 3 forward without moving weber or josi, just have to find right team to deal with.

I am pretty confident some sort of combination of our top ten first round pick this season, legwand, Ellis, Wilson, beck, Watson, Cullen, fisher, ekholm, aberg, sissons, leipsic, etc etc would get us a top three forward, hands down.
