OT - Afinogenov Leaves Games
No injury... went to the hallway and picked up a cell phone, then had a short conversation with GM Darcy Regier and then went to the dressing room.

Sabres board says it's an upper body injury, but injuries don't usually involve tunnel cell phone conversations with the GM...and I really can't see them trading him (and telling him during the game no less). Must be personal...

Why'd Buffalo trade him? Also, they're never going to trade him to a division rival that's for sure.

Maybe he was convincing Regier to call 120 strippers for the after-game, and offered to lower his salary for this, so Buffalo would be under the cap if they would bring in Guerin?
