I totally discovered an Impact podcast today.

Anyone else listen to "off the woodworks"? with Kevin Laramay?

Too early to tell it's quality, but its awesome finding a real local show to get my fix.

I just saw it appear on my twitter TL earlier this morning. I'll definitely give it a listen tonight.

According to Frederic Lord, Heath Pearce made the trip back to Montreal with the rest of the team.

I know we haven't seen him a lot, but from what I saw, I thought he sucked. He has a good track record though, maybe he wasn't in game-shape... Let's hope.

That's what I'm hoping for. Since we picked him up so late in camp and the fact that he wasn't with any other team, leads me to believe he was probably just cleared to start training after his surgery.

Yeah I thought he was way one or two seconds behind in a lot of the plays. Defensively I thought he was really bad. I just hope they make the right evaluation of him from the scrimmages at least.

We're loaded on defense though: Ferrari, Camara, Lopez, Rivas, Lefevre, Brovsky, Miller, Tissot, Pearce, Ouimette and Mallace who's been playing RB.

That's what I call a quantity over quality defense.

Good to have though, cause last year the majority of our rotation problems were on defense. 4/5 of our defense played 90% of the games last year (Perkins, Ferrari, Brovsky and Camara). When we had to rotate for CCL games, or when our players were tired, we never really were worried about the midfield. We knew we had quality there, our biggest worries were always on defense. So by having quantity, it basically forces the manager to rotate the squad and keep fresh legs.

I'll give credit here to the management. Adding a few bodies + Having young players like Tissot, Ouimette and Wandrille gain experience last season, I'm confident enough to say that who ever starts on defense this year, for whatever match, I'll be confident (Unless they're in horrendous form lol)

@TheSoccerNoel: Just spoke w #IMFC's Nick De Santis who strongly indicated the club was in the hunt for a 'high profile' attacking midfielder #MLS #TSN690

NDS has done nothing but talk talk and talk this whole off-season. Me thinks he just wants to give false hopes in order to sell more tickets. I'll believe it when I see it.

That's what we've all been calling for months now, team would look great with a high profile guy playing behind Di Vaio.

Not too shabby either. I just fear that salary could be a slight problem. I'm sure we could figure something out with Garber

High profile Mid, sounds a lot like Pirlo. Sticking with the Serie A mold.

I know he's not an attacking mid, but he fits the bill with the type of players we are targeting. (I.E, over the hill Serie A players). So with that maybe it's Totti, while staying on that Serie A mold which this team seems to love.
