Ever since he's been in our line up our team has sucked when he wasnt in our line up our team was much better for some weird reason! Maybe it was the great paring of Havelid and Hnidy or Mccarthy and Vish but now Vish is gone which i hate so we should of traded sutton but no one saw this coming so we cant do nothing about this SOMEBODY HELP THE THRASHERS

This statement is only partially true. We definitely have sucked since
Sutton returned, but we were sucking pretty bad before he got back
too. We've pretty much sucked since Christmas, or maybe even a little
before. I definitely remember people on message boards saying,
"Sutton will help our PK when he returns".

It is pretty clear from watching him he is not 100%. Right now I would rather have a 100% Coburn in the lineup.

I looked back at all the goals scored since Sutton returned and Sutton has been on the ice for 20 out of 31 of the goals scored. It is obvious that he is not even close to 100% and I wonder how long till Hartley calls up Coburn.

Well, I'm bored, so I checked a little deeper. Of those 20 goals, 10 came on the opponent's PP. Granted, Sutton is supposed to help kill those PP's, but I think our PK has been so bad lately, that it maybe jukes the stats a little. Also, of the other 10 ES goals, two of them were empty netters.

Gotta admit, though, I don't know why I keep supporting this guy. Guess I just like him as a person.

Don't get me wrong, I really like Sutton, but he's gotta go.

He doesn't have to go, he just has to be used less.

I don't mind keeping him on the team, but to keep putting him on the top pk and top defensive pairing with Havelid is killing us. Drop him back to a different line and see if he can return to form. We need something to shake up the pk.

Who, of the cadre of mediocre defensemen the Thrashers have, would you put on the top pairing instead?

I just don't see X being a top pairing guy ever in his career. Not his skill set. With the added minutes and responsibilities messageboard denizens would be *****ing about the goals given up on his shifts just like they slam Sutton.

Hnidy. He isn't great, but him and Havelid were at least decent before Sutton returned.

Sutton has been on the ice for 20 of 31 goals and isn't 100%?? Would that have meant he was on the ice for 31 of 31?

He's -4 since coming back and that doesn't include standing on his heels on the PK.

Nashville probably can't believe what a jackass DW is for giving up Vish, and even worse, how could Hartley keep playing Sutton and putting Vish on the shelf.

Vish was probably mentally ill after going for hits and having NO ONE back on support while he was here.

He should have played with McCarthy and X should be top line with Havelid.
Havelid is beat up because he's had to be the power since Sutton is such a Nerfball wuss.
