In theory, okay. I'd hold out to the last minute for a better offer just because you can usually count on someone to get desperate and give up the 2nd at the last minute. The value is fair though.

I like Manny, but that's fair. I agree about holding out for a potential 2nd.

I like how he is in the dot. Otherwise not too interested/convinced that he will have good chemistry with Kane. A 2014 3rd is not too much to give up though. So I wouldn't be upset if this was something Chicago did. Also fits within the cap--surprised Stan isn't calling this seems like a move he would make

though I don't know how much it'd improve on Handzus, don't know how slow he skates

this is actually a really good idea for Chicago if they don't get Kesler. Malhotra is a very solid player and better teammate.

Hawks may only be looking for a stopgap 2C if they don't get Kesler. I don't think Kesler goes anywhere.

Not what the Hawks are looking for. We need more Regins.

Hawks can use some help on the PK.

They add an excellent pker, who is a very good faceoff guy. (59%)

Ideal perfect 4th liner center. Also adding depth never hurts.

Good deal for Chicago. Fits under the cap and brings in a solid depth piece. Plus they have two 3rd round picks this year.

We would hate to see Manny go, but understand for him to have a cup run. Great teammate, and a leader on our team.

Hawks have no need for a bottom six player nor do they need PK help.

Pass.
