Jagr with the plan! 17 more wins, huh? Knock it down to 16 this afternoon with a 4-2 win, goals by Jagr, Straka, Cullen and Dracula.

what an AWFUL percentage, even compared to the Flyers, who are at 20%

Ah our "Captain" bloodied, but yet didn't miss a shift. The dude picked his up his teeth from the ice. Shanny is the last of an era.

LET'S GO RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WE SHOULD SECURE 4 MORE POINTS BY MONDAY, if all goes right. Let's see how things pan out. Yes, Lundy should be in chris_dub.

Keep it going, should be a fun game to watch, right? Atleast from a Ranger fan perspective.

Should be a good game. Couldn't get tickets for some reason - the cheapest available were like 60 bucks each for the blueseats..not sure why, but I'll be there against the Hawks.

I guess Philly will have Upshall in the lineup. I want to see if we can bring the same type of game that we did against the Caps and Hurricanes at home for once, we need to start taking advantage of all these home games coming up and establish home ice.

This will NOT BE EASY. Let me just say that. This is not the same Flyers team from earlier in the year. I don't care if Forsberg's gone, watch out and play an aggressive game or else they will make it too close for comfort.

Any news on the goaltending this weekend? Will Henke start both games?

There's no real news but you can assume he'll play for Philly, and that there is a chance of Valiquette (sp?) starting against Chicago, but not definite.

Rangers better not be looking past this game.

This is just the type of game the pre-lockout Rangers used to lose.

Chimp: Girardi blocked a shot with his stick that then sent the puck up into Shanny's face. Shanny fell to the ice for not even 2 seconds gets up after the whistle stops play, starts to skate to the bench, stops, turns around and picks up his tooth, then calmly goes to the bench lol.

It takes two to tango!

Homeadvantage doesn't come by itself. If I were a fan gooing to games in the near future I would think through if its worth missing the PO's inorder to boo Malik. Or if I should concentrate on supporting the team, and not let the reffs get away screwing Prucha when a bunch of goons jumps him...

Pogo if you go to 1050espnradio.com I think they stream the game from there as well as the NHL site. I dont know much about computers but i'm pretty sure the ESPN feed uses windows media player while the NHL site uses something else, maybe real player Thats my suggestion, sorry if it doesnt help.

Q: So, Tom Renney, what do you think of the Rangers' next opponent, the Flyers, now that they've traded away Peter Forsberg for a package of young players and draft picks?

A: "I don't care. I don't give a -- -- about Philadelphia. All I care about is the New York Rangers. Where we're going and how we're getting there."
Renneys a bit fiesty! lol

I just have a feeling that Avery becomes a real pain in the butt this game. This is his kind of game va a division foe. It will be interesting to see how much he distracts the flygirls. I can see Gauther and Hatcher trying to pile drive him all game long and be running around after him leaving their positions open down low and screening the crap out of their goalie.
