Doubtful, Bournival did good with Plekanec and at least tries harder than Bourque. Vanek is an upgrade on Gionta. Therefor, Galchenyuk can play with Eller and Gionta completes that line.

I would like those lines very much going into the playoffs.

This is the best trade habs have made in two decades. I couldn't have asked for a better addition, this guy was the best forward in the deadline market.

I agree that the Briere-Plekanec-Vanek line will be reunited most likely. If thats true thats not good for Gally but its for the sake of the team.

I don't understand why people still put DD as our top 6 center when he only has 2 assists in 10 playoff games. What we form for the next 20 games is what we will bring to the post season, and do you really want DD to be a top center in the post season?

I'm not one of those complete Therrien h8rs but I just don't like how DD is given so much chance in the top 2 lines, he is a good 3rd line center.

I get your point, totally, I feel like loading up on Pleks' wings though would enable his line to outscore opposing top lines 5 on 5 and that will be more beneficial to the team. There's still enough to go around so 2 other lines can score. My opinion anyway.

I also disagree that it's random because Vanek will most likely be on one of Pleks' wings (stupid otherwise) and simply ask Pacioretty to put his big boy pants on and play against top lines like Pleks.

Moot point anyway. It will be Vanek/Pleks/Gio and Max/DD/Gallagher obviously.

Buddy, Vanek already has chemistry with Briere from 05-07. I know it was a short time from long ago but they ripped it up when they were together, and Briere morphs into ultimate mode during the playoffs.. he is without a doubt the center with the most playoff experience and points in our team.

_____ - Briere - Vanek

I would put Pacioretty on the LW but I personally think that Briere and Vanek should always be paired up WITH Briere at center.

No excuse for him if this team doesn't improve offensively.

Vanek plays his true position on the LW.

But really, swap Brière and Vanek on the top line of the option 2 and this is exactly how it should be. Don't understand why some people try to complicate things too much.

Jury's still out on the 4th line. I'd like to have Moen over Weiss personally.

Galchy-Pleky-Vanek
Pacman-DD-Gally
Bournival-Eller-Gionta
Moen-Prust-Weise

Bourque-White-Brière

EDIT : I thought he was a RW (according to RDS and Hockeydb)

Then

Vanek-Pleky-Brière
Pacman-DD-Gally
Galchy-Eller-Bournival
Moen-Prust-Weise

Bourque-White-Gionta

Vanek - Pleks - Galchenyuk
Patches - DD - Gally
Briere - Eller - Gionta
Prust/Bournival - White - Moen/Weise

3rd and 4th line can be switched back and forth on the wings.

Bourque can sit in the press box for the rest of the year.

Galchenyuk has barely any playoff experience!! dont put him in our top line!!

Briere and Vanek will be on our first line for the playoffs, the third forward will be either Pacioretty or Plekanec.
