And now Gävle (Järnkroks hometown and hometeam Brynäs) has catched that rumour as well!

http://arbetarbladet.se/sport/brynas...ok-till-brynas

I feel this will be a test , Järnkrok needs assurance that he will make the nashville Team next season otherwise he will play for Brynäs (and i can smell the Gold fo Brynäs if he Do!)

We can't really say much since we can't talk to him. I trust Poile and co. to make good decisions.

Maybe he would enjoy an all-Scandanavian Salomaki-Jarnkrok-Forsberg line down there.

Considering he was drafted four years ago, I'm not sure how great of a player he is if he needs another season in the A. Hopefully he earns a shot with the big club next year.

I don't get what some Preds fans in this thread are mad about.

We're a last place team going nowhere. Legwand wasnt going to be resigned. His final 20 games have absolute zero value to us.

We got a lottery ticket type prospect and a decent pick, virtually for free.

If we fans think it so must players do!
The season is over, TRY ME! give me regular playingtime rest of the season and then evaluate me!! there is NOTHING to loose on that!

And that is something that you guys can probably do for him that the Wings really couldn't. For everything Detroit does well, they don't always treat their prospects the best.

I think you guys will like him. He has been great in GR over the last couple of months and still projects as a top-six player if everything comes together.

This is exactly my thoughts. If not for these circumstances we probably wouldn't have a shot at this guy in a trade. A lottery ticket is a great way to put it!

Considering he is in his first full year of play in North America and his stats with the Griffins would put him third on the Admirals in points (third in goals, second in assists) his isn't doing bad. He's under contract with the NHL through next season as well.

Seriously, how many of our guys can you truly say stayed in Milw longer than necessary? The road may go through Milw, but there's no traffic jams holding anyone up.

Don't see anyone upset over getting him. Maybe some concern that rumors have truth that he's thinking about going back to Sweden. He doesn't appear to be a game breaker, but Legwand's not going to return that in trade.

There is a saying in Milwaukee that "we have a rush minute".

I guess it is true hockey as well as the road system!

Oh I'm not saying it does or doesn't happen too much, I'm just saying that we need to be proactive and not waste time in seeing what he can do in the NHL. So long as he looks good with the Ads.

Blum. I'd argue Beck as well.

Blum, the current AHLer and Beck the current tweener who hasn't made himself indispensable at the NHL level and is not leading his AHL team in scoring? Then Sissons is really being held back in his first professional season.

Chances are we pick no later than 7th... I say trade beck/Watson and a 2nd to move up into a position where we have an outside shot of Bennett or Reinhardt

Need to get rid of Watson /beck so forsberg, sissons and iron hook can play

Nice post (from poster Motown Beatdown) on the main board:

Oh really? Just HF and not the Wings?

Here’s what Detroit development coach Jiri Fischer had to say about Jarnkrok’s potential just last month:

“He’s certainly one of our most talented, if not the most talented prospect,” Fischer said.

“Not to take anything away from others like Anthony Mantha, but Calle, the stuff he can do – he is as good as anybody in terms of hand-eye coordination and skill in tight places.

“He makes plays and it’s just a matter of time until he really starts putting up big numbers.”

I'd argue the NHL time hurt Blum's career, which is part of the reason why he's an AHLer.

I was a big fan of Beck when he was up last year, thought he had a good two way game.

Not upset over getting him, but I am upset at Poile for not doing his homework and seeing if he wants to stay in NA. Why trade for him when he is leaving for Sweden next season. Just ask for the 2nd and and North American prospect

Poile qouted as saying Jarnkroks will be competing for a center position in Nashville next year
