1- Betting on Dustin Torkarski, knowing it would make the team play well defensively = win
2- Shutting down Perry and Getzlaf = win
3- Benching Eller = win
4- Killing 5 penalties out of 6 = win
5- Habs continue to be a shot blocking machine = win
6- Using all the right players in shootout = win
7- Starting the game with Parros in Anaheim (good for team spirit) = win
8- Beating the best team in the NHL on their own ice = win

Michel Therrien is a good coach.

Budaj tomorrow and I am feeling Price in on Saturday! These are two winnable games with a ton of momentum heading home to face Boston!

The Habs should move out West, the games are way more entertaining!

Tokarski got some bad bounces but overall he was solid.

Great effort by the entire team yes even you Emelin.

My man Gallagher 1st star of the game imo.

Bring back the great Dane 1 game is enough.

Marc Denis said Prust will be ready for Saturday! **** yeah can't wait to see a injury free and well rested under the Californian sun Prust rumble on the ice.

DD gets crapped on a lot on this board (myself included) but the guy is money in the shootout. I don't think I've ever seen the Habs bench so fired up for a shootout before. They were really into it.

Tokarski was quite shaky and looked nervous, but he played his first NHL game in 2 years against the best team in the league, got peppered with 42 shots and won a shootout facing Perry and Getzlaf. And the Habs handed the Ducks only their 7th loss at home this season!

The Habs sure took a lot of penalties but rallying back to win the game was impressive and my hat's off to them.

As a sidenote, Galchenyuk never looks comfortable in a shootout attempt. He's slow with his dekes and is quite predictable. What an absolute terrible game he had, too. Yikes.

But enough of this negativity. A win... in Anaheim, too!

I agree 100%

I was just hoping after all his mistake that the coaching staff pull him out. He was so atroucius.

Apart from Davey's turnovers (something that we just gotta live with I guess), he was damn good tonight.

Let's just admit it. One of the reasons for this team's success recently is the offensive production of DD. Dude's also money on the shootout.

That double post though..

At first I thought the puck hit the post.. Went accross the netting and then come out on the other side.

Its was just weird that the puck was sliding so slowly on the goal line despite the heavy shot.

adding a 30-40 goal man (Vanek) will do that...
I think the boys appreciate the move.....big time..

So simple for tomorrow.

Eller in, Weise out.
Vanek in, Parros out.

Don't screw this up, Therrien.

Someone might as well make an early GDT for the next game.

I'm so drunk but I don't want today to end as a Habs fan.

Today has been the best day ever.
