This would have been a good game to get Raanta back on the ice. I trust Crawford will be on a short leash tonight.

Third favorite board pastime after blaming Bowman and Q.

The goal isnt on Crawford, but it would be nice if he bailed us out a bit more. He doesn't cover up mistakes as much as we need

Seeing as they have less goals than shots, yes.

What's the point of having Handzus out there?

Yeah, it is a stoppable puck, but you should never give up a 2 on 0 on the back end.

Also, I really hate when goalies only put one pad down. Seems whenever there is a breakaway and they do that, it is always a goal.

That's all I'm saying. I'm not a Crawford-killer at all -just the opposite. But he didn't make a single tough save against Colorado, and it cost us the game. First tough chance tonight immediately results in a goal. Anytime he wants to step up and make a tough stop, I'd appreciate it.

Were those stolen pads magical pads, or something?

It's not planned, it's reactionary. Not trying to be a jerk, but have you ever played goal?

I know it isn't
and no I haven't which is why you will find me defending goalies about 99% of the time and a lot more than a lot of people do.
I dont know if you thought I was blaming Crow for that goal, because I wasn't.

Not that it really matters, but I don't like those black pads. Kinda jarring to look at.

I dig 'em. Opposing players might lose sight of the puck easier if it blends in with his pads during crease scrums.
