Crawford looked shaky all night.
Luckily the 5 guys in front of him dominated so much it didn't matter.

One of Brookbank's best games as a Hawk. He was great tonight.

he saved 22 of 23. don't know what more you could ask of the guy, would've had a better chance at the shutout without that bad change

then again i dont know why i even debate this anymore

plus you know, he had a good 4-5 strides during the PK that were probably his best all year

Well I hope they can bottle this.. Looked like old vintage Hawks offensive and defensive domination and results..Top line with Shawks and Saad as the wingers with Toew looked great and performed great..The definition of clicking. ..a whole line in total chemistry and able to finish.. Do not know if this is a one-off OR the start of something special..Liked the Versteeg and Bickell performances and their clicking too..zo if line 3 is coming around that is huge...Line 4 was its usual excellent self...and Zus was ok on line 2. .but I thought that though Kane got a pp assist..he was nothing social..and lolliggaged too much in not checking hard or attacking..and Sharp. ..except for one sniper shot off the post was also not very engaged..So 2 stars still in a stupor...rest of team on board and contributing big to the win..D corps played well. .2 and 7. ..their old vintage best and in sync for a change...good sign..PK very good...again encouraging.. Still..as I said..we need much better work ethic and talent display from Kane and Sharp on the.new.line 2.. But if we get 3 of the 4 lines bringing A games..we will win most games.. So much much better..but could yet be SUPER GREAT if only all4 lines bought in.. Ds for Kane and Sharp..gotta give As and B+ to all the others..coach Q needs to have word with the only 2 slackers who did nothing enough to earn their fat paychecks tonight.. They did not hunt the puck like everyone else did..I would bag skate them..everyone else day off.

Easy win.

Hopefully this is a start to a long winning streak. Now we'll need some help from Anaheim, Pitt, St. Louis, Colorado, and Boston. It would be nice to get that presidents trophy again.

Fantastic game. One bad change away from a damn near perfect game. Loved what I saw from Saad, Toews, Shaw, Bollig, and the entire defense tonight. Crawford also made some big saves. Fantastic effort tonight. Should be able to have another good offensive showing Sunday.

He must have played well, cause the stats say so. I get sick of folks using stats to substantiate, when it was obvious to see CC was often fighting the puck.

Crawford also needs to scrap the dark goalie pads. It's like advertising his rather large 5 hole. Most goalies wear white pads for good reason.

Wasn't it a bad Seabrook pass at the time of that change that led to the goal?

Seabs really just doesn't want Corey to get shutouts, does he?

Actually it was a decent pass from Seabs to Sharp and Sharp muffed it up. What I saw from Kane was that every time he would lose the puck in the opponents zone, he would just stand around and then leave the zone like he was very disinterested. He has been like that for awhile now. He needs to get the lead out of his butt and start hustling again.

I put the blame 100% on Keith who was the 2nd Dman off and needed to stay.

Black trail is the puck, red lines are where 2 and 7 went, black line & X is where 7 should've been.

I agree with most of this, but his white pads were stolen and he probably hasn't got replacements yet.
