He did have a one shot in the OT officially.

Rinne nearly lost the game when he misplayed the puck behind the net. Thank goodness that Amerk Luke Adam hit the post on what should have been an empty net goal. The Admirals win one for a change in OT. That helps a little with the 6 OT losses and 6 SO losses on the season. The next closest team (out of 30 in the AHL) has a total of 10.

Pekka's line in Milwaukee: 33 saves on 35 shots and a GAA around 1.00 with 2 wins.
The last time that Milwaukee played Rochester, January 19, 2007, Pekka was in goal!

Good news...The Hockey News "Future Watch" issue came out a few days ago and has Forsberg as the overall #4 best prospect in hockey.

Bad news...The Preds organization has dropped all the way down to #18 (though we've had a ton of top end graduates over the last couple years including Jones, Josi, Ellis and Ekholm).

Stream of the game. Hopefully there aren't any of those NFSW ads. I can't see them so I don't know.

Sissons scored a nice PP goal. Jarnkrok was on the ice, but not in on the goal.

All the fighting started after Cehlin was hit in open ice and got hurt.

Edit: According to Ads Roundtable, Cehlin and Moser expected to be out long term with injuries.

I want to see Mills and Shea get suspended. I am not talking about a game or two. I want to see that bum Ted Dent get suspended too. He should have suspended after the April Fools Day bench clearing brawl that Rob Flick started when he attacked Jeremy Smith during a second period timeout. That team has no regard for the rules. Maybe suspending their so called coach and fining them $100K will finally get their attention.

Tomorrow night's game at Rockford may resemble Slap Shot with a brawl during the warm up.

That is a really bum deal for Moser, just gets sent down with Eaves coming in and gets injured long term. Hope he recovers, out of all the recent call ups he seemed most comfortable in the NHL, even if he may be just a 3rd line type player.

Cehlin has been out with a concussion for a while & the way ads round table was tweeting tonight, sounded like he took a dirty hit to the head..classy of Rockford to goon it up after getting boat raced.

Mazanec with the quote of the year.

Quote:
WANNA GO? There was almost a goalie fight between Rockford's Kent Simpson and Milwaukee's Marek Mazanec at center ice after the scrum following Bobby Shea's hit on Simon Moser.

At first they stood and looked at each other, then LaBarbera motioned to Mazanec to meet in the neutral zone. They skated toward each other and were about to square off when the officials stepped in.

"I was laughing the whole time," Mazanec said. "I just tried to have some fun and make some fun for the people."

The sad thing is remembering how we scratched Smith for multiple games earlier in the year because Trotz liked the feel of Clune in the lineup "I like the energy he brings ... "

yeah, that and Smith was bringing absolutely zero to the table at the time…

he didn't get called a polished turd for nothing..

speaking of which, he has been a bit invisible during our three game slide… hope he's not going back into his hole like Punxatawney Phil

Liambas took down that scrub Mills with a 5 minute major and a game misconduct. Ads killed off the 5 minute power play and added an empty netter to seal a 6-2 win. That is 25 goals in the last 4 games for the Ads after only scoring 29 in their previous 15 games.

Hes just slightly more polished. He is due to go on a streak. Will it be a scoring streak or another slump? Who knows but the last what 6 games with 1 assist. I know its no popular to criticize the most productive forward and people get ******** about it. But Smith has now graduated from 4th line to 3rd line on a NHL team built to win. I am not sure hes gonna be much else. Glad hes improved but still unconvinced he is part of the long term solution.
