Interesting Article.....

...on North American sports teams and their rankings in several categories, as selected by readers of ESPN The Magazine, in their SportsNation survey:

http://www.hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=49225

The link given in the first post provides the rankings (down at the bottom of the article describing just how crappy the Hawks have become).

Interesting to note the ranking given YOUR Columbus Blue Jackets in the 'Stadium Experience' category. Kind of confirms the results of the same survey done last year, and also confirms something that we CBJ faithful already know!

Edit: url correction

Ouch!!

The CBJ does take a hit in the 'Bang for the Buck' category---must be due to the fact that we fans are asked to shell out the dough to watch players who should have been left in juniors, or in Russia, rather than playing here in the All-Star game, or the YoungGuns game. :p

I know what you mean. I won't name names, but those kids need to learn to kill penalties. They're crap until they do.

On the bright side, Fritsche got sent back to juniors. He'll probably be ready to win the Selke next year.

Yeah. He was -5 in 19 games with the Jackets. He definitely needs some work in Juniors because he was on pace to be nearly as bad as Rick Nash.

I agree---especially w/that 'Bang for the Buck' shiner considered.

Over all, I was quite surprised at how high hockey teams in general finished. Good to see.
