Can you explain the joshy reference please, I don't know why but it sounds hilarious and suitable at the same time

We need him too much to be in his top form for the last stretch + playoffs
This is how I feel, I'd rather him sit 3 more games and get some rest. The rest is good for his mental game.

Bournival will be meeting with team doctors on Monday.

Prust just got the green light for contact this morning.

If you are looking for a flashy Dman that looks good on skates but is not willing to sacrifice his body, then yeah, I can see how you do not miss Gorges.

But when you look at what Gorges does for this team regarding blocking shots, you will notice when he is missing.

Gorges is second in the NHL for blocked shots with 173.

The Habs only had 11 blocked shots against Phoenix (Coyotes had 18). We gave up 5 goals.

You may not have missed Gorges. The team did.

Ideally he might not be the guy you have next to your Norris winning franchise D, but we have nobody else who can do the job as well.

Weaver said it best, if I'm not in the newspapers I'm doing my job well. Same can be said about Gorges. You not noticing him means he's doing his job.

He's not as good as I thought he would be. Took a step backwards last season but he's okay. Ideally a 2nd pairing blueliner.

Our D is thin though and losing him is a huge hole back there.

UGH Price. This seems much more serious than they're letting on. We need him for the stretch drive or we could very well drop into a wild card spot or worse, 3rd and Toronto having home ice.

Come on Carey, heal up bro!

Speculation

I might be completly wrong, but I think Price is done for a while. We talk about a possible return for next week, but Price is far from giving his 100% in practice. I think medical staff is making sure he won't be able to come back without an operation or something like that, because if he aggravated an old injury, chances are that it will take some time to fully heal. Only speculations... but I think something's wrong.

Stay tuned!

Can't wait for Prust to come back! With the Vanek trade he should be playing 4th line. I don't know what our 4th line will be when everyone is healthy but a Bournival-Prust-Weise fourth line sounds good, gritty and will chip in offensively.

I wouldn't give the Price not on ice too much thought, probably just resting up.

I don't think Prices's injury is serious. MB wouldn't have kept Markov and wouldn't have traded for Vanek if it was the case.

Pretty sure it's a groin and that can be naggy. You can think it's gone then it sneaks up on you again when you think you're ok and it's back to square one.
