I'm not sure. Something like Schastlivy would probably do it for me. Maybe a pick(certainly not a 1st). It's not like I would expect Havlat. The Blues only gave up David Morrisette(sp?) for him.

Honestly, if the Oilers want to get roster players for Smith, Smyth, et al, I think they should go deal with Carolina, and not Ottawa. Ottawa, I seriously doubt, moves any consequential roster players between now and the deadline.

Edmonton is giving up quite alot don't ya think?
Edmonton could land better packages in separate packages for these players IMO.
To be honest I think you are putting to much faith in Jason Spezza.

The Senators would not make that deal. If Volchenkov is to be moved, it would be for a better player than Walker.

I do agree in general that Sens posters don't want to give up anything for good players such as O'Neill or Smyth...but Volchenkov's value exceeds Walker's IMO.

Danton has better upside than Tucker? You've got to be kidding...because Danton hasn't proven anything in the NHL yet, compare their junior careers and you'll see that Tucker is a much better player...3 memorial cups and a jr gold Medal...?

From a Kings perspective I think they would want to keep Lappy as long as they are still in serious contention or until he gets hurt How about Sean Avery and Ryan Flinn for Ray Emery ? As you all know Avery is a pest and Flinn is a huge heavyweight. thoughts ?

Bag of Pucks

and a bag of pucks, we'll take anyone who will fight the Leafs for Schastlivy including Ryan Vanderbeushe from Chicago.

Not that these two teams will or should deal but Philly and Ottowa would be interesting. Would Brashear be what the Sens need to compete in the East? Always plays his best against Toronto and Domi.
What would the Sens give up, and I know it would likely be prospects as they would not want a major roster shake up.

The one guy that would fit perfectly in Ottawa and IMO, truly deserves a Cup, is Dallas Drake. He personifies tough gritty left wing. He has ample speed, hits like a monster, kills penalties, and will score at opportune times. He's like a smaller Rick Tocchet out there.

Dallas Drake and Donald Brashear , please lord bring them to town. I'd love to see Donald serving Domi his lunch in an Ottawa uniform for once. And Drake is the exact type of guy we need, not a figher, just a good gritty guy who makes you keep your head up.

I would like to get Drake, he would replace varada nicely, and has more experience.
I'm not so sure about Brashear he takes dumb penalties but he sure can kick ppl's As*
