Hmmmm ... a kid who played in all situations and not a one dimensional player who isn't trusted on the PK.

It was a hell of a debut, but still just one game. Luckily this one game matches an upward trend in Jarnkrok's play over the past few months with a slight hiccup in his stats during December ... 5 goals in Nov, a slow Dec, 9 pts in Jan, 12 pts in Feb ... 2g, 0a in two games in Mar ... the looks of making the adjustment to North American professional hockey and learning how to contribute on a consistent basis.

Awesome to see a real goal scorer.
Calle takes a lot of pride in defense and he backchecks as hard as he forechecks. A short, intensive shift type of player. He's got a good shot that he doesn't always use. He'll be an NHL player as long as he stays the course, the only thing that's an unknown is how much offense he will bring to the table and if he can be a primary scorer.

Just to add to this he now has 21 points in his past 17 games. I'm upset to see him go but if he develops right you guys will have a good #2C in your hands!

Diva's post referenced Trotz's insistence that players strive to do the little things right ... aka "detailed" hockey ... and that they at least attempt to fill their role in the defensive end. Some of our fan base considers that sucking the offensive talent out of players. Heaven forbid that a coach expect a player to actually put forth a little effort in every area of the game, including those that they may not excel in.

He'll be great. You guys have deserved a great offensive player for a long time; Calle will be a great 65-75pt 2way center.
So then, basically the best center we've ever had?

Hehehe, had the exact same thought.
We would praise the heavens if we had that kind of output for Jarnkrok.

Is it a sign that Jarnkrok wears the same # as Arnott?

Assist to Forsberg tonight and a PP goal for the Ironhook...still time to go as well.

He is really liking his new buddies.

Seems like a great special teams player. How is he at even strength? That's where we really need help

Forsberg with a goal as well. We've got to call these 2 guys up as our forwards can't score a goal unless it is a deflection. Let them play against Ottawa and Buffalo and see how they do.

7 of 16 goals at ES, 8 PP, 1 SH. Not sure about his assists.

Not much sense in it leave them where they can make a difference. Not Be frustrated with our offence. If they were placed on a top line they would face the top defenders of the other teams and would not be effective. Let them carry the Ad's into the playoffs get that experience they need it.

I am hopeful. I think he can also make Forsberg better. This could go a long way to cure the ill's the Preds have.

Kid is playing great so far. Glad to have a true center prospect in the fold.

Amen, Byrddog!

Sissons scored 2 goals against Rockford for the second night in a row.

Brad Mills needs to sit out for 10 games minimum for deliberately injuring 2 Admirals in those same two games. Liambas kneed him near the end of the game tonight and left him face down on the ice. Karma? Revenge? Lack of AHL refs ejecting people who keep committing major penalties with intent to injure? You make the call!

We've only got 12 forwards someone is probably going to get called up for the road trip back to back. Definitely someone for the next week when the preds go to western Canada.

Milwaukee is short 2 forwards thanks to Brad Mills and Shea from Rockford. Tousi did return tonight or it would be 3 forwards. Who is the Brain McGrattan type guy in Nashville now? Send him down for next Friday's game against Rockford. Where is that "Screaming Buffalo" guy when you need him?

It'll be Moser. He fits the bill for what Trotz likes for plug n play rookies and he has played well while called up.

Yeah we're short some forwards but we could always call up Josh Shalla or Zach Budish from Cincinnati if needed.

I heard they put Mills out tonight with a questionable knee to knee hit.

Hockey Diva: you're right completely forgot about Moser being out. I still would expect a grinder to get the call over one of the skill guys. Hopefully I am wrong again. It was fun getting a glimpse at Forsberg at the end of last year.
